We booked our first family holiday to Theretra Pefki well in advance for myself, my wife, and our 4-month-old daughter. During the booking process, we clearly indicated that we would be traveling with an infant, and had no issues securing the reservation. To our shock, the day before arrival we were refused the stay on the grounds that the hotel does not allow infants – something that was never communicated to us during booking. Despite our explanations and evidence showing we were able to book with our daughter’s details included, we were met with disbelief and accused of using AI to manipulate the system — which was both insulting and completely untrue. However we ended up spending more on a new hotel due to the late notice. While we were given a partial refund, which we appreciated, the experience was incredibly stressful and upsetting, especially for a young family on their first trip together. What made things worse was the extremely unprofessional and hostile attitude from a staff member named Sevy Parvaki, particularly in how she spoke to my wife. The customer service throughout this situation was deeply disappointing and completely unacceptable. I would advise any family traveling with children to avoid this property, and for others to exercise caution given our experience with miscommunication and poor service.
