Resolution Bay

We had a great time in Reso Bay, staying in the Kereru cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. Walking the beautiful tracks and feeding the cod off the end of the wharf were highlights. Thanks Debbie, Simon and Shannon.

A really magic few days staying at this family owned accommodation. Everyone was super friendly and very generous . Beautiful walks, kayaking, swimming and fishing..even a small shop in this wilderness. Well worth the boat trip from Picton also on the Queen Charlotte track, cute cabins for all budgets. We will be back!

The location is beautiful - in the Marlborough sounds, perhaps far enough that there are no crowds. We stayed in the Kaka cabin - it was comfortable and clean, with good pillows and linen. The shared kitchen was well set up, and showers were hot. We were able to use kayaks free of additional charges. There's much marine life to see, to the children's delight. There's no electricity, so we enjoyed many candlelit dinners and games. No internet either, so we could really switch off. We will be back! My only suggestion is that the waste be dealt with sustainably - composting and recycling as much as possible.

You cowards. Show the shed. Show the shed we had to stay in. Where a Weka figured out how to open our door. Where 6 preteen/teenage guys had to share a tiny space. The B.O man. I can still smell it all these years later. The Girl's cabins? multiple rooms, toilet, couches, MICROWAVES. Not ours. As much as all that happened, it's all a bit of fun
