Complicated check-in, no assistance, deposit not refunded Definitely not recommended. The check-in procedure was extremely complicated, and there was nobody to assist us upon arrival. After contacting Trip.com, we were told to reach out directly to the property — but it turned out that the apartment is managed by a third-party company renting it through another agency. It took us over an hour to reach the right contact person, and by the time we did, it was already after 6 PM, so there was no one answering the phone. We finally received an email half an hour later with instructions on how to collect the keys. Even then, we couldn’t proceed without paying a €300 deposit, which further delayed everything. In total, it took almost two hours from our arrival until we could finally enter the apartment. We had to wait all that time — first on the street, then in front of the building — which was a very unpleasant experience. The apartment itself was fine, but the entire process ruined the stay. To make matters worse, the €300 deposit still hasn’t been refunded, and we’ve had to chase both the third-party company and Trip.com for updates — so far, no response. In conclusion: the stay itself was okay, but the management and check-in process are a complete headache. I would strongly recommend choosing a real hotel instead.
