Wensleydale Glamping Pods

Brilliant glamping pods. They was plenty of room and felt very spacious. Hot tub was a bonus and the location was brilliant to see many places around the yorksire dales. Would definitely book again. Brilliant!

We stayed for our wedding anniversary over the Easter weekend in the Swaledale pod. It was immaculately clean and it had everything we needed to cook breakfast, dinner and tea. We used the BBQ, it worked perfectly. We also used the fire pit which is supplied with plenty of wood and even marshmallows which we thought was a nice touch. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant and a perfect vantage point to look at the stars at night, it was literally like a carpet of stars for two out of the three nights that we were there. One night the sky was that clear we saw shooting stars, satellites and no word of a lie, a meteorite that burned right across us and then disappeared over the hill in front of us, it was just incredible. There is plenty of space outside the pod to move around and it very private, as there are only three pods on site. We met Janet who is the co-owner there and she was lovely, she gave us more towels and more wood for the fire pit. Overall, the Swaledale pod is great, it's very comfortable, has a cracking view and has everything we needed during our stay. We had a memorable anniversary and we very much hope to return in the future. Thank you very much! The Webb Family

I stayed here with my 2 children we throughly enjoyed it the owners have thought of everything you could ever need all you need to provide is food and clothes. The pods are excellent and very well kept and the scenery is beautiful. I would definitely visit again in the future.

This is the second time we've stayed in the Wensleydale Pod and we absolutely love it. So much so it's definitely our new yearly tradition. The pods have everything you need, they're super clean, really cozy (but also surprisingly spacious) and stay lovely and warm. The welcome pod is also great and my little boy loved choosing DVDs to watch and games to play. We also hired the gas BBQ this time which was brilliant for cooking breakfast. Nearby i'd recommend the Wensleydale Creamery and Forbidden Corner for fab days out, especially with kids. Thank you for another lovely stay in the most beautiful surroundings - we can't wait to return in 2023 :)

From when u arrive this place is spotless from where u park to your pod everywhere’s spotlessly clean an safe .. the self check in is very simple .. in our pod we had 2 adults an 2 children and all slept with no problem and plenty of room .. the owner who is lovely and kid pays a visit over your stay ,. The welcome pod is also very useful has a very good range of board games and the the dvd library has something for everyone… We hired the jacuzzi and the bbq pack which are both definitely worth it … especially when you find a small shop in layburn called Campbells Has a fantastic butchers counter… The chicken an lamb kebabs was the best we’ve tasted The Wensleydale pod we stayed in had everything u need for a few nights away … the views are endless and amazing …. We will definitely return here Thanks again guys 👌

Fantastic glamping pods. Stayed here for 2 nights with my little boy. Great place. The pod was lovely. All nicely fitted out. We both loved the views out on to the fields and the sheep walking about next to the fence was good. Was great eating our meals outside on the table with the views of all the hills. I really liked how there was a DVD library in the welcome pod. We picked a DVD each night to watch on the TV. Also had marsh mallows on the fire pit. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will most likely return.
