Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch

The place was very nice and the location is beautiful. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, which made our trip a wonderful experience. There are lots of fun activities to do such as ice skating and snow shoeing which are super fun and entertaining.

Went up tubing for the day it was wonderful. The weather turned out to be great. The lines were not too terribly long. Jeff was an awesome helper with getting us set up in trains and making it a very fun time super polite. It really added a lot to our family vacation for him to do that for us and be as nice as he was

I feel a bad review is necessary and rarely give one. Neither the office or the campsite are well designated online or on site. Had to go walk into the restaruant to ask/find it. We arrived 15 minutes prior to closing and the staff sid they were already closed and unhelpful. Had to find campsite ourselves. Campsites are spread out but in poor condition(s). Dirt road is washboarded. Met friends at the restaurant and server only took order--never saw him again as he was caughing and sneezing--we thought he was sick. Had to go find another server to pay the check. Poor service and conditions here--needs several improvements. We left comments and the GM called to inquire as to the review. He promised the reservatons would be refunded. Well, that didn't happen either. Top to bottom disappointment...

I took my 26ft RV here to stay two nights in their campground. The property is very large & quite beautiful. I loved how remote and quiet the place was. I stayed in spot #10. Although it wasn't level, it was a great spot! It was woody and beautiful. There are nice hiking trails and a pretty river close by. We saw a lot of beavers running around & also saw their handycrafts in the river :-) We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant near the lodge. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the campground to the restaurant/main area. The food was good and the service was outstanding! The road to get to the resort from Red Feather Lakes is dirt, but it is fairly well maintained. We had no problems in our RV navigating the route.

We ordered 2 burgers and a margarita The food - both orders were perfect. The buns were toasted sesame seed (very nice) vs standard bun. We ordered burger one medium and one medium well we both were satisfied. I got sweet potato fries and my buddy got regular fries both great. My partner comment that for 15$ there should be a side salad or mini side to go with the meal but we were both happy with the burgers and fries. The service - Again, the food came out pretty quick and the $10 margarita was pricey but tasted good. At that price I would only get one, but if the price was 7ish I would of had 2. Good Marg, well made, good balance and defiantly had Tequila in it. Hornitos Tequila was available for the marg - there were more options but I stopped there. The location - Dog friendly on the outside patio- We ate on the patio again with our big dog who dinned along with another dog(new puppy). Once they met it was all good. The policy of well behaved dogs being allowed on the patio is awesome(duke thanks you for the water bowl every time). Only glitch - I asked for Mustard and Ketchup with the burgers and found that they had 12+ bottles of ketchup but no mustard. Its a simple condiment offered with most burgers across the country, so I expected that they would have it. New management just took over the Beave, so they surely will have things like this ironed out in the future. It was great to get a burger and margarita and sit and gaze at the meadows. This was a 5 star meal except for the missing mustard. I will order it again and bring my own mustard( I will bet they will have small things like this nailed down near future and you can leave your mustard at home). There are less than half a dozen places on the mountain to get food and drinks ...... and it is Sooooooooooo nice to have a dependable option for dinner and a drink. The bill - 2*14.95$ for burgers 10$ marg %15 tip and taxes- another good meal at the Beave

Went up to the ranch after the large blizzard this last week and it was amazing!!! The staff was quick to get the tubing hills groomed and opened for the day. The kids had so much fun!! The restaurant was delicious for all the meals. Staff all around were friendly and extremely helpful. Cannot wait to go back!!!
