Tranquila Maldives

This was one of our worst hotel experiences. We travel often and aren't very picky, usually avoiding luxury places. That's why I chose a more expensive option on the island, expecting better quality. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The place, even with its own beach, was dirty - including towels, sheets, and a moldy bathroom with a window that wouldn't close. The sink was blocked, and beach doors wouldn't lock. We also found cockroaches and other pests in the apartment, which was completely unacceptable. The breakfast was disappointing too. However, the staff were helpful and allowed us to cut our stay short to one night, which changed our travel plans and made us skip the next island, fearing similar issues.

I came to Tranquila to celebrate my 21st birthday and my mum‘s 44th birthday. My family and I stayed for two weeks. It was the ultimate relaxation holiday. The staff are so considerate and attentive, they help you with absolutely anything you may need. The water is crystal clear, by far the best speech I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to Cuba, Miami, Egypt and I can confidently say that Tranquila hotel offers the best beach. Highly recommend staying here!

AVOID AVOID AVOID ! I wouldn’t recommend this place at any costs.it was absolute nightmare from the beginning.so we booked this place in advance and paid straight away ($120 per night).we informed the hotel manager at what time we will be coming and they’ve noted it but no one actually came to the jetty to pick us up.my husband wasn’t well and they knew that and still left us abandoned there.they’ve been trying to blame us and the ferry for it .kept lying about not getting any information from us etc.we had to ask other hotel’s manager (who miraculously were able to come to the jetty to pick up their guests ) to take us to the hotel.anyway we arrived and the room was dirty including unflushed (!) toilet.we were in many guesthouses before ,it wasn’t our first time on Maldives,it wasn’t even our first time on Rasdhoo but this was an absolute nightmare.no Wi-Fi even if high speed Wi-Fi was advertised (we both working remotely so it was important for us). So we decided to approach the manager and we told him about our concerns but the only thing what we got back was FULL MOUTH OF ABUSE (all has been recorded as a proof)including shouting at us in front of our very upset son and telling lies.they wanted to change our room but it was exactly the same !!! We tried so many times to talk to them with no luck and aggressive responses so we decided to seek help from the police .we just wanted to leave this place.police came and checked (it also appeared that we were given double not triple room which we paid for) after all of that we finally got the refund (long story and very stressful as we didn’t get money back until few minutes before our boat departure) .it was definitely very stressful 24 hours of our holiday .so again I would advise to avoid this place at any costs

I cannot describe in words how wonderful the stay at the Tranquilla hotel was. The room is furnished in a modern, minimalist style with great amenities. Air conditioning and a fan are a big help. The exterior is also beautiful with a private beach and a bar that offers countless mocktails, coffee with Lot of flavors, etc. The hotel also has a restaurant with excellent food. they offer a large number of activities that will create an unforgettable experience. The best part of the stay was the attitude of the staff, who were very willing and helpful. We felt at home here. We definitely plan to return to this location, but next time we will bring our family and friends too!

After staying in another hotel on the same island which was rated pretty high, moving to Tranquila felt like heaven. It is so spacious, clean and fresh. It has direct access to its own beach. The staff is incredibly nice and so willing to help with everything. I highly recommend this place!
