Clean and comfy bed, but expensive stay for what was effectively a shed… it often felt that there were not enough toilets, with long queues for the bathrooms on all floors in the morning and at night.

the hostel was about a 10 mins walk to the city. not bad but we saw a few other hostels on the way. our cabin was smelly, it smelt like mold as the floors were carpet. id ask them for a non carpetted room. the bathrooms were old and weirdly set up. overall it wasnt horrible but i wouldnt recommend.

the room was clean but quite cramped - lots of clutter in the kitchen and things were not labelled. perhaps if solo you could put up with it but with a small group it is not as tolerable.

Excellent location at downtown, 6 km from airport, 2.8% charges on international card payment. However toilet, shower room is limited

Great location to base yourself for a few days of seeing Queenstown. (It really is that close.) Nice and friendly staff at check in and throughout. Most helpful. Ents included TV, books, games, couple of guitars, ocassional theme evenings. Couple of outdoor spaces. Bathrooms are fine although if fairly or more than fairly tall, the shower heads are surprisingly low down. I understand the difficulties with this given the time of year but a floor by floor deep clean is probably needed. Whilst I am no member of the fun police, having numerous notes across the place emphasising the need to keep noise down after 10pm, I can see why this might be a bit galling when the staff who live there alongside guests do not abide by this - especially when you have no idea who is a worker who is off duty. Might be impossible given temperatures, but it wasn't ideal to climb into my bunk in the pitch black (other than the light from my phone) and find a cat sleeping there (honestly!) I like a cat but if I hadn't had my phone lit, I would never have known and would have landed forcefully on it. I actually found it quite funny but a lot wouldn't. All hell could have broken loose if I had landed on it. (Amusingly and no joke, I was watching Don't F*** with Cats at the time and had paused it while I climbed in. Perhaps it was written...) Anyway, really nice spot and right for the price. Cheers!

Decent hostel in good location within 5min walk to the town centre. The showers are dated and no shower gel or shampoo. Which is normal standards in most hostels around the world. They did provide towels which were a added bonus. Would I stay again. Probably.

Decent place, close to downtown

Convenient location with comfortable rooms. Three kitchens, all stocked with enough utensils and equipment to cook. However, very busy at meal times. Also hardly any room to store food in the fridge/cupboards, possible due to the amount of long term residents resulting in severe lack of food storage room actually free. Few toilets/showers, not enough for the amount of people staying at the accommodation. Also very limited parking! Arrive early before other guests if you want to squeeze into a space. Bonus was free tea/coffee. Good location for access to Queenstown and local walks (see picture).

Might be one of the best hostel around queenstown, I stay quite a many different hostel too
