Ignore the low price. Run. Now. Do NOT book here. DANGER! Let me start with some small issues. There is no elevator which the ads do not mention. The lighting is terrible with no switch or light near the bed. Also no place to charge phone. The TV was missing with just the wires hanging from the wall. The walls are falling down into the room, plaster is exposed. The whole thing looks like a prison cell but without the charm! Plus, lots of people smoking downstairs with smoke throughout the place. Filthy, disgusting, uncomfortable. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in VN. This is the worst yet. Less small issues... no hot water. Bed bugs. Cockroaches. Black mold everywhere - a known cancer causing issue. Super small room with a window only into the hall. Overall, no relationship between the listing and the room. But the BIG issue, the staff. Completely aggressive and hostile. I do not leave bad reviews for the hundreds of hotels I use in VN so I want to be clear and detailed. Here is what happened. I asked if I could wash clothes with my own soap. The cleaning woman said ok, and helped me load clothes and soap (my soap) into the washer. I returned to my room to have a business call. While in the middle of a meeting, the super aggressive front desk man comes to tell me that no washing is allowed. I explained that I asked permission first, was given approval, and was helped to put the clothes into the machine. He became very agitated, yelled at the cleaning woman, turned back to me and basically said I was lying, and stood very too close to me in an extremely hostile and aggressive way. He demanded I remove the clothes. I said I was in a business meeting and would not do so, and went back to my phone. He then took the half-washed clothes, wet and covered in soap, and dumped them outside my door on the very dirty floor. I am sensitive to the idea that drug use, drinking, or basic mental health issues are possibly involved here. However, that is irrelevant to a hotel guest, who should not have to deal with this. Or be threatened by the staff. Stay away - far away - from this hotel and the staff. It is horrible, and maybe unsafe, at any price. It was a totally horrible night.
