I liked the hotel very much! Nice and clean room. Staff very friendly and helpful! And they have a very good restaurant in the hotel!

Honestly, this place was really great. Very cool old building, the restaurant downstairs was good as well. Friendly and attentive Staff, Most of whom speak English if you don’t speak Chinese. Overall, good place, I would stay again

The restaurant was great for breakfast and had really good choices for dinner. I enjoyed my stay but the one thing I hope will change soon is the construction noise. The construction going on in the neighborhood during my off-season stay was quite extensive and also was happening in the street directly outside the hotel. Saturday morning was a pre-8am jackhammer wake-up call and it was also extended into the evening after 8pm! Once the street is fixed up directly outside the hotel, the construction noise shouldn't be a problem.

The novelty wears off quick. I’d have fewer complaints if we paid half or less than what we did, but $127 was not good value. The pictures from travellers are also very deceiving. Pros - Polite, welcoming, professional and friendly staff at check in and at the pub/food area - Quiet, historic neighbourhood, nice easy stroll to the cathedral and Zhongshan lu - Decent pub food, fish and chips are good and breakfast was generous Cons - Mould lined bathroom - Next to no water pressure or heat - Rock solid bed - Air con that sounds like a train - renovations & drilling next door started at 7a.m. - The toilet wobbles - You won’t fit the slippers unless you’re a size US 8 or smaller - No pillow protectors - The place needs regular maintenance and better cleaning Just a bit of attention and the place could be a must stay!

I stayed here 5 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. The decoration of the rooms is simple, but clean and with a cool vibe. The rest of the hotel has great character, with sitting areas at the end of each floor. The lounge and restaurant is huge and inviting. All the staff are very polite and friendly. Of course, the breakfast is fantastic with several choices of freshly prepared meals (American, British, omelette, or French toast). The hotel is well located close to most of the sites tourists would want to see and also convenient to a subway station. I don’t often write reviews but this is the type of place that feels special and becomes a positive part of your trip.

I had a great time in town and I really liked the hotel: Historical building reconditioned to become a hotel, it's location in the old town is spectacular!

+ direkt an der historischen Altstadt + wenige Gehminuten von der U-Bahn entfernt + sehr nettes englisch sprechendes Personal + gemütliches Ambiente - Zimmerstrom funktioniert nur bei eingesteckter Karte - sehr unangenehmer Uringeruch auf der Herrentoilette - keine Vorhänge am Bett für mehr Privatsphäre

구시가지(성당,중산로,잔교)여행하기에 위치가 너무 좋아요. 한국사람들 많이 가는 지모루 시장도 걸어서 10분내외로 갈수있고 주변에 식당,카페도 많습니다. 직원들도 젊고 친절하며 1층 레스토랑도 시설이 좋아요.저렴하고 이국적인 숙소를 찾으시는 분들에게 추천드립니다.

3월말에 칭다온로 여행을 다녀온후 처음 리뷰를 남겨봤습니다. 3박4일로 계획으로 잡았지만 비자문제로 당일출국을 못해서 호텔측이랑 다시 연락 하니 아주 상냥하게 .접대해주었습니다. 예약취소하고 다시 잡으니 업그레이되 방을 우리한테 주셨고 항상 태도가 좋았습니다. 여행계획한 첫날3월25일은 칭다오 비온다고 해서 걱정이 많았는데 오히려 잘된거였을지도 모릅니다. 26일 도착했을때는 날씨가 너무 화창했고 햇빛이 따뜻해서 좋았습니다.호텔 예약시간이 오후2시라서 지을 맏겨두고 가까운곳부터 다녔습니다. 호텔 내부는 찍어둔게 별 없어서 너우 아쉬웠습니다. 다음번에 가게 되면 꼭꼭 찍고싶습니다. 직원분들 너무 인상이 밝고 친절했습니다 잔교,성당 걸어서 갈수 있는거리고 5.4광장등 시중심쪽은 전철로 가기도 너무 편했습니다...갈데가 너무 많아서 다음에 또 갈것같습니다.ㅋㅋ

室內環境很好，地理位置特別不錯，挨着大鮑島，教堂郵電局都不遠。樓下餐吧的早餐是西式的，服務人員都很温柔有禮，推薦指數五顆星，會推薦給身邊的朋友。
