Diaoyutai Hotel Qingdao

The hotel had an exclusive feel, with rooms located on the upper floors, offering great views. However, the check-in was on the 51st floor, while our room was on a lower level. This meant we had to change elevators every time we left or returned, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we were traveling with an elderly family member. We were celebrating my grandmother's birthday, and the hotel made a lovely gesture by arranging balloons and a cake, which we really appreciated. On the downside, the bed in our room was stained when we arrived, but the staff responded quickly and changed it immediately upon request. Breakfast was somewhat limited, so we opted to dine at MGM instead. That said, the swimming facilities, steam room, and rain shower were standout features and added a nice touch to the overall experience.

All is excellent except confusing escalators and limited bar opening time.

The location is quite convenient, but the breakfast is too simple and everyday is the same .

Facilities are beautiful, room is beautiful but all service people do not speak English also their training is not up to international standard. There is only few tables occupied during breakfast but the staff are missing and are not attentive. This reflects greatly on the management of this hotel
