Charmillion Gardens Aquapark

I highly recommend this hotel for families with children and older people, we were in Charmillion Gardens for 10 nights at the end of March 2025 the whole family, the hotel was very well-kept, clean, comfortable beds, well-kept rooms, we also had access to the neighboring Charmillion Sea Life hotel where there was a heated pool, which is important for my children, very friendly lifeguards, thanks to Gamal, he showed my son how to swim, he was very caring and always kept the pool and tables clean, the tour sellers were not pushy like in other hotels, they did not come every hour and did not pester you to buy trips, nice employees, clean, friendly hotel, aqua park for both adults and children, I highly recommend it, we will gladly go back there, each of us was happy, if we did not have access to the neighboring Sea Life hotel, it would be bit boring in Charmillion Gardens itself and without access to the sea and heated pool, so it was great option that you can use both, we all liked the food very much, large selection, very nice service, thank you all, it was a successful holiday

This was our first trip to Egypt and like lots of people we read the reviews and I’m glad we ignored the few negative ones because we had an amazing time! The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much for them…special mention to Ibrahim and Mostafa in the gardens main buffet restaurant for working tirelessly every day and always smiling! Ibrahim introduced me to ‘tequila bombs’ which were strong but good! They offer a freshly squeezed glass of juice for 80egp which was delicious and cheap! We went all inclusive but there were a few extras that were chargeable like the juice and ice creams but this didn’t make our experience any less good. The aqua park was good fun! The cleaner did a great job and my little boy loved the ‘towel art’ We will definitely be returning next year…thank you for the wonderful memories :)

A brilliant atmosphere very helpful friendly staff. A wide variety of food and drinks. The grounds are maintained to a high standard and light up beautifully at night and safe to give kids a bit of freedom. The layout is done in a way where there's spaces to chill and relax or get involved in activities like the water slides or yoga.

Hotel Review We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The resort is massive and impeccably clean, which made it perfect for leisurely walks and exploring. Our room was spacious, accommodating five people comfortably, though it could use a little renovation. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with towels—only two were provided, and despite requesting more several times over a couple of days, we never received them. Ultimately, we had to help ourselves from a housekeeping trolley, which wasn’t ideal. Most of our days were spent by the pools, and we’re incredibly grateful to the lifeguards Abdullah, Essam, and Gamal for ensuring our children’s safety while being kind and attentive, truly enhancing our experience. The drinks and cocktails were fantastic, and a special shoutout to Mahmoud, the wonderful barman, who made sure our glasses were always full and our evenings enjoyable. We also tried the spa facilities, including a Turkish bath and a massage. Unfortunately, the Turkish bath did not meet expectations, especially for someone who’s experienced better elsewhere. While the massage therapists were friendly and welcoming, the experience was far from relaxing due to constant noise, bed squeaking, and chatter. This is an area that requires significant improvement, though the staff themselves were lovely. The food was nice, but it became repetitive, especially at breakfast, where the options didn’t vary much. That said, the omelettes were delicious, and the cakes were absolutely amazing! The waitstaff throughout the resort were attentive and made us feel very welcome. However, the Italian restaurant was a disappointment; it left us with upset stomachs for a couple of days, which was unfortunate. On the brighter side, the entertainment was enjoyable, with activities like dancing lessons and a charming piana party on our last day adding a special touch to the stay. Overall, we had a great experience, and while there are areas for improvement, particularly in the spa and restaurant, the warm staff and lovely atmosphere made it a memorable vacation.

Excellent few days. Great choice of food. Loved the day boat trip for snorkeling & diving of the reef, a real highlight. Plan to come back with my family. Next time I hope to make it on a excursion to the old town market - did not have enough this time round.

Just returned from a week at Charmillion. We stayed in the Gardens Aqua which is where the water park is situated. We needed a week away to recharge which is exactly what we got. Access to all 3 hotels although we were not allowed to eat at the Bay hotel (main buffet). The beach is situated at Sea Life and Bay so a 10 min walk for us from Gardens. Water park is very good and the pool was never overcrowded and always access to beds. The hotel and gardens were very well kept and clean. The room was spacious but very dated and very limited plug access in the rooms. The main buffet in sea life is bigger with more choice. Food was always good but not loads of choice although the bbq every night was a bonus. We booked a quad biking excursion which was very good and facials too for the family and defo have a massage in the spa, excellent but do remember to haggle on the price!!! All the staff were very friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay. Ice creams were not included in the all inclusive so €2 each if you wanted one. Only a 10 min taxi journey from the airport too which is a bonus! Thanks
