The best hotel and best service best receptionist best housekeeping every thing in the hotel I like it and thanks to Mr Ramy for everything he do to be happy in the hotel thank you very much I will repeat this visit again as soon as possible thanks

The food is delicious, the room is normal, the soup, the sea, the decorations, the beach, the beautiful gym, the excursions are super and everything is good, I liked the mini the hotel is very nice, everyone here is friendly and the beach here is very nice and the seas are beautiful

have just returned from Eagles Pardise Abu Soma resort, and thought it was amazing. The staff are brilliant, you can just walk a few yards to the beach from your room, the beach is lovely and fairly safe as theres a cordoned off area with a lifeguard that gently shelves which would be great for children and non-swimmers. There were plenty of shaded loungers - even though people do the usual beach towel thing ! (which there is clear signage on the beach asking people not to do). I saw turtles and some quite big fish underwater when snorkelling. I liked the food, and the desserts and lovely bread were the best bits for me. Unfortunately, one thing soured the experience for me. My wife wanted to look at the spa and see what was on offer, so she checked at reception. Rather than a leaflet or price list being produced, the receptionist went to fetch the man from the spa, who proceeded to do the hard sell and recommended all sorts of things that my wife and daughter on reflection didnt really want. The price reached 180 dollars, but at some point this became pounds, and on paying in Egyptian pounds it became slightly more again. In the end my wife paid £184 for something that she wasnt really looking for. When I found out, I was so angry that I wanted to speak to the man in the spa - however, my wife begged me not to as she didn't want an unpleasant situation that would spoil the holiday, particularly when she was about to have what I imagine is a fairly 'intimate' experience of massage and skin treatments. I suppose it can be argued that my wife should have been more assertive - however, my wife is not good in these situations and doesnt want to offend people. Also, I think that when you're on holiday and having a relaxing time, and everyone is being so friendly, that your defences are down a bit. I understand that the spa is a separate business to the hotel, but I think any business operating within the hotel complex does reflect on the hotel, which presumably does also benefit in some way financially from having the spa in their grounds. I suspect the man who did the hard sell probably felt he had done well and been very clever ripping off another 'wealthy customer' who could probably afford it. However, my wife is adamant that she would not go back to Egypt, so whereas an individual business may have gained considerably on this occasion, it doesnt help the tourist industry in Hurghada overall.
