Hotel Philip

Being on the highest point in Pylos the view from our balcony was magnificent. Sunset was spectacular. The upgraded room was spacious and quiet. The meal and breakfast at the sister restaurant were both appetising and enjoyable.

A lovely, clean hotel with a terrace and pool. But the best thing was the stupendous view of Navarino Bay from the room and balcony. The breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant a couple of times.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Hotel Philip. The owners were very welcoming and provided a very nice and comfortable room with a fantastic view. The balcony was spacious and private. The shower and bed was fine and having a safe was a nice touch.. We had breakfast and lunch there and they were very generous and good. We were there to play golf on the Costa Navarino courses. They were a short drive away and very beautiful. There is a great beach a short drive away on the bay. The hotel provided towels which was a nice touch. Pylos is a cute town which is a short walk down the hill.There are many nice restaurants to chose from. The walk back up the hill looked challenging so we took a cab from town and it was 5 minutes. There is free parking right across the street from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to this beautiful part of Greece.

We stayed for 10 days at this gorgeous clean Greek hotel. Our rooms had large balconies where we could watch the sun set right over the sea in the evening time. Our hosts were relaxed and so accommodating. My husband and son ended up changing dates and arriving 3 days later and Nikos kindly did not charge for additional room. They were always very attentive and ensured all clients needs were met. The breakfast was most generous with sweet savoury and fruit offerings and is included in the price. We took the most stunning photos of Greek sunsets from the hotel and there is a small pool to dip into on the super hot evenings. It is a short walk down hill to the petty port town of Pylos, which we truly enjoyed each evening. This is definitely the best place to stay in Pylos and we will recommend to anyone exploring the beautiful Peloponnese area. Thank you Nikos and family. We hope to return again one day from Ireland

Hotel eccezionale! Si trova sul fianco della collina che scende in paese (per arrivare in centro serve la macchina, sono 2 minuti ma a piedi non è sicuro sulla strada stretta a tornanti!), le camere sono tutte rivolte verso il mare, la vista è incredibile, infatti davanti all'hotel c'è un punto panoramico dove tutti si fermano a scattare foto. La piscina a sfioro (utile nei giorni di troppo vento) è incredibile, quando siete in acqua sembra di nuotare in una prosecuzione del mare!!!! Lo spazio intorno alla piscina è minimo (qualche sedia con i tavoli e 4/5 lettini), ma difficilmente troverete qualcuno, perchè naturalmente in Grecia si va per godersi le spiagge. Servizio ottimo, qualsiasi richiesta viene esaudita (per esempio ci hanno imprestato un ombrellone per tutta la settimana); la colazione non è a buffet ma è servita al tavolo ed è molto ricca: uovo fritto, torte salate, pomodori conditi, torte, brioches, frutta fresca, spremuta fresca, e tanto altro). Il tutto con una rilassante musica classica di sottofondo. Anche il ristorante è ottimo. Ambienti molto curati, con oggettistica ricercata e dettagli raffinati; abbiamo soggiornato nella suite da 4 persone perchè non c'erano più camere doppie, ma il prezzo è basso (meno di una matrimoniale italiana!) ed era dotata di ogni confort, compreso l'angolo cottura e la camera separata dal salotto. Terrazzo ampio attrezzato (anche con stendino) con vista mozzafiato. Il personale è gentilissimo. Le spiagge più belle sono raggiungibili in 15/20 minuti di auto (Voidokilia è da non perdere, verso Methoni invece consiglio Destino). Ho pianto quando sono ripartita!!!!

Albergo fronte mare. Stanza molto grande letto con materasso comodo. Piscina a sfioro . Bagno nella norma ma Cambierei il box per la doccia. Pulizia buona. Colazione completa con tutto. Dista a 5 minuti di auto dal centro dove ci sono molti ristoranti di pesce.
