Absolute disappointment do not recommend at all. Bedsheets looked like they hadn’t been changed for months with dirt and stains everywhere. We were itching the whole night to the point we had to take something for it. The shower had cobwebs and a stench coming from it. There wasn’t even a mirror let alone a dustbin in the room for the price- which was a very large amount due to the new years season- we were paying for it. The way the staff spoke to us didn’t make us feel like we were paying guests. The food was tasteless, and at one point served us what was left of the buffet because there wasn’t enough food which is not right because we were paying for all three meals. Overall an extremely bad experience and total waste of both time and money. Do not recommend at ALL.

Very bad experience. Not recommended at all. Standard Rooms were small and congested. though they said buffet will be there, provided food was not sufficient. Had to request several times to provide more food. Staff was not trained properly. Pool is small.

Wonderful family trip experience at Dinuda Resort. Excellent destinarion to spend the weekends.There are lots of fun activities .we had a joyful times and the food and facilities provided to us were at its best.Also the hospitality of your team was remarkable .

The perfect location in the lagoon and you can even see the ocean from some rooms. The staff were incredible so friendly and kind and happy to help with anything. The room was really sweet and clean and the beds comfortable. The food was wonderful. The only thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have our room cleaned whilst we were there 1 night. However, I’m sure if we had raised this at the time it would have been done. Overall a fantastic stay especially for the price.

We really don’t recommend this establishment. Actually we were few people staying there for quarantine and everyone was wondering how did they get some nice revews? Probably the owner always asking for it. Anyway service is terrible. The owner only wants your money. He was calling me and texting me all the time when he wanted me to book his accomodation. Bus as soon as you give him the money he doesn’t care of you at all. I had some issues with my suitcase in the country and asked him and tried to reached him many time he just doesn’t even reply the phone. Or we had some trouble with the room fully leaking and he was just downstairs we asked him to come up he never did. We had to text him 10 times. And then to pick him up. But he rather have some beers with his friends. Also when we had this conversation when he finally show up while the room was leaking everywhere I told him how disappointed we were with the service and he then replllied “you asked for a simple room this is what you get”. I nearly laugh. I am a resort manager back home and this is chocking. Like seriously. And then when he realised that he said something out of the place he then mentioned that it’s the fault of his staff that in Sri Lanka they are very bad (WRONG! It’s your fault if you don’t know how to train your staff, in other resort they are very well organised and service is great. ) He also smell alcohol from the breakfast which is super embarrassing. Most of the time he ignore our request but when he needs cigaretts he always come and ask for. Like man are you serious? You pay a crazy amount and nothing is done. We had to ask so many times before they actually want to clean our room. The owner was always trying to get money from us. Pretending we had to pay on top of the money we paid for pcr and insurance for gouvernement (92$) the transport or the car for the pcr (30$+30$). We gave him the money. When I told the girl from the pcr she was chocked and she said I shouldn’t have to pay that this is include already in my first gouvernement paiement. Anyway al the stay was a nightmare. The food is very poor quality and over priced (in the fruit plater you get half an apple and one piece of pineapple ). When we ordered some food sometime they were bringing something totally opposite just because they don’t have what we want and don’t want to tell us so they bring anything else(even meat that I don’t eat as a vegetarian). We went at some point visiting for new year the resort very close to named Kitesurflanka Resort which was amazing and MOST RECOMMENDED!! The food their was incredible the service amazing the people lovely I felt really like in Sri Lanka!! So must go there but please don’t waste your time and money in this establishment. The staff except the owner is very nice even tho they don’t speak any English. The owner should also train them, hospitality is a real job and doesn’t fit everyone.
