Maurya Residency

I stayed in maurya residency for 3 nights in pune during mid november 2024. I had a great time staying there. Very affordable place, close to fc road, the happening area in pune. The owner rajesh shetty was very cordial and hospitable. He helped me with suggestions regarding the places to eat & visit in pune. He even arranged for an economical cab at the last minute when i was trying to go to simhagadh. The staff at maurya residency were very nice & helpful too. Even though the hotel is there from many years, the rooms & bathrooms were kept very neat & clean. The hotel staff cleans them every day. Overall a great place to stay if you are looking for a very economical place near ferguson college. Great location too as many hotels are close by too.

Property was well located. Staff behaviors was good but the hotel infrastructure was too poor and old fashioned. They must renovate the hotel otherwise it will be difficult for them to continue the business. The tv was not working. The air conditioners are old model window ac type. Although hotel price in normal in kind of pune city but the amenities were poor. They have to work hard to improve the image if they want to continue the hotel business.

It's a ordinary lodge. It is a budget hotel with no extra luxury. It is clean though all the furniture, tiles, electric and bathroom fittings are age old and over used. Located in the prime area is a major plus point.
