Redang Beach Resort

Food limited, pool murky, dishes dirty. Environment dirty in general. Staff fine but disliked this hotel. If want stay, go stay at Laguna. You will be happier there and plus it’s nearer to the tourist attractions. Convenient store in hotel also small

Room exactly behind summer point bar and it's not comfortable at all. The band singing can be heard straight from our room and it actually sounded louder than when you're at the bar. Resort is pleasant but avoid if you're looking for a quiet pleasant stay cuz here it's filled with loud yelling speaking tourist. I'm only grateful for the view and Redang itself. Won't come here again

Good Hotel on the beach. But food option is not much. But it was ramadan time, we had to ask for few times for food options. The other facilities like Snorkeling trips are good. We took turtle feeding trip too.

Resorts are supposed to be fun, right? Redang Beach Resort was more like attending boot camp rather than a relaxing vacation. So much needless frustration caused by an uncaring staff and ridiculous rules that made the experience unsatisfying. Starting with the bus ride from the airport it was just one exercise after another. We had to load our own suitcases on to the bus while the bus crew was smoking and watching us. When we arrived at the Jetty, the bus parked away from their ticket counter, so again, we had to drag our suitcases on muddy and unpaved gravel ground. Once on the island we had to walk through another resort and then on sandy beach to get to the check-in counter on a very hot day. The resort we walked through looked much nicer and had transportation for its guests instead of making us walk. When we checked in, we had to listen to a long list of rules that was spoken so fast it was hard to understand. Of course, our room wasn’t ready yet. The front desk ladies get a D-; they were rude, unfriendly and answered “No” to every request we had. The resort had a vibe of 1970's in the year 2022. The buildings, rooms and facilities need to be renovated and maintained; much of the property is rundown. I regret that I trusted what I saw on their website.. it was misleading. It's my first experience to stay at a beach resort where there is no door between the room and the toilet. Extremely thin walls, I could hear conversation from the next door. It wasn't an ideal place for me to stay for my holiday at all. Useless TV, there were no available stations and no streaming. No wifi that I could find. No coffee. What's the point of having hot water pot if there are no water nor tea or coffee? Safe deposit box wasn't working. How come nobody bothered to check anything before new guests arrive? This resort just doesn’t care about their guests. If you don’t want the cold buffet food, you can go to a separate restaurant but the only thing they serve is fried rice that is overpriced. Nothing else on the menu is available. We had to check out at 9:30 even though our ferry ride back was 11. This is a resort, how about make the guests feel comfortable and valued? Instead, we were treated like cattle. We asked for a bus ride back from the jetty to the airport, but the front desk ladies' answer was "No" right away. She said because we didn't ask earlier. Instead of "No", "Let's see what we can do for you." with a smile would do. we had to obey front desk ladies (sergeants), followed a placard and stand at the jetty until we were called one by one to proceed onto a boat. All in all, this was the worst resort experience I have ever had and have no desire to go back for more boot camp.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet hôtel et je ne m’y suis pas senti à l’aise. Dès notre arrivée, juste en face de l’établissement, deux immenses ferries ont accosté. La plage idyllique s’est transformée en quelques secondes en un véritable cauchemar : des nuées de voyageurs ont débarqué pendant que plusieurs tracteurs envahissaient le sable pour transporter les touristes vers leurs hôtels. À la réception, c’était la cohue : énormément de monde, et une personne munie d’un haut-parleur donnait des instructions à des dizaines de touristes asiatiques qui attendaient là. Bonjour la tranquillité ! Cet hôtel ressemble davantage à une usine qu’à un lieu de détente. Une fois cette première mauvaise impression passée, on nous a remis les clés de notre chambre. Il était bien précisé qu’il s’agissait d’une chambre « standard », mais franchement… quelle déception ! Une pièce minuscule et glauque, avec un lit d’appoint au milieu pour la quatrième personne... Sans isolation phonique, la chambre était au rez-de-chaussée, avec vue sur le passage menant aux autres chambres et sur le balcon d’en face : Bof! La salle de bain était elle aussi minuscule. A chaque douche, on arrosait tout ... J’aurais accepté ces désagréments si le prix avait été raisonnable, mais ce n’était pas le cas : cet hôtel est très cher. Pour le même tarif, aux Perhentian, j’avais une vue sur la mer, trois pièces spacieuses et une salle de bain immense ! Visiblement les hotel de Redang sont tous trés chère et je ne comprend pas pourquoi... Certe les fonds marin sont beau, mais au Perhentian aussi... L'eau est peut-être plus limpide mais bon... Nous avons testé le restaurant : franchement médiocre, avec des plats presque immangeables. Seul le petit-déjeuner était correct. Point positif malgré tout : lorsqu’aucun bateau n’accoste, la plage située juste en face est trés belle, avec un joli spot de snorkeling.

La spiaggia è molto bella, purtroppo mal tenuta infatti i continui passaggi di trattori per il trasporto dei turist, oltre ad affumicarti con l’odore di diesel distruggono la spiaggia. Inoltre la rimanente barriera corallina presente verrà sicuramente distrutta da orde di cinesi che la calpestano senza pietà. La camera è vecchia, sporca. Il bagno, il quale gorgoglio dello scarico crea odori tremendi è sporco o quantomeno lo sembra. Il cibo può sicuramente non piacere essendo ripetitivo (ammesso che l’orda cinese non se lo sia mangiato tutto) e il menù costituito quasi unicamente da pollo. Il cibo è sempre freddo. La colazione non è adatta ad una clientela europea tuttalpiù italiana; sono infatti presenti unicamente latte (di mucca?), caffè e specie di cereali, il restante sono noddles, riso e pollo fritto. Se per tutto questo è possibile chiudere un occhio, la cosa peggiore è il fatto che poco dietro le camere brucino i rifiuti. Oltre ad essere un abitudine pessima e anche pericolosa sia per i locali che per i clienti, i fumi che respirerete pervadono tutto l’hotel e la spiaggia, creando una sorta di nebbiolina tossica e puzzolente.
