New Cocohut Chalet

Wow where to start. Please avoid this place at all costs. We booked this place for 4 nights whilst traveling through Malaysia. We got engaged just a few days before and couldn't wait. On arrival we were shown to our room and it was absolutely disgusting. Mouse/rat droppings above mirror and cupboard, the ceiling paint was flaking off onto the floor and bed constantly, the floor was filthy and broken in places, the lampshades where so dusty and it was just one of the filthiest places we stayed during our month away. Even the beach area is covered with litter and it looks like a hurricane has just hit, such a shame as the oustanding beauty of the island is not reflected at all in this accommodation and site. We managed after a while back and forth to get the owner the agree to a refund (or so we thought) we have been back in the uk for a week now and they have stopped replying to my emails. *********** tell me the hotel is responsible for all refunds and they tell me there manager is on holiday and they will sort it out when she is back. Now they have changed there story and say that *********** will have to make the refund. Avoid at all costs please guys! Save your money and stay at Tuna bay instead which is where we went after we cancelled our booking on the first day!

We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the island when we arrived. Its not far to walk to the chalets. As an honest reviewer I can say that the place isn't 5 star but has all the basic amenities that's needed. The room we had was above the restaurant and the view was amazing. If people are drinking into the wee hours and are noisy you can easily hear them, bit it didn't affect us. The rooms were clean and most importantly has Aircon and fan and fridge. The shower has plenty of hot water. We had all three meals included which were mostly Asian and were all very delicious. The lady who runs the place is extremely friendly, speaks 3xcellent English and no request was ever too much. We will definitely visit again and my only wish is for them to have more variety of alcoholic drinks, especially cocktails. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nous avons réservés pour 4 nuits! 4 nuits horrible! L'hôtel est très sale, c'est mal entretenu, a l'extérieur des chalets il vaut mieux fermer les yeux! Je ne vous parle pas des lampes de chevets sales, des coussins sales, même les draps il y avait des oreolles ! Les meubles vieillot, les serviettes de bain je ne parle même pas! Fuyez cet établissement! Le petit déjeuner infecte, on a fait leur barbecue de poissons, je vous informe que c'est du surgelé et non du frais! Votre chambre n'est jamais nettoyé a moins que vous allez a la réception déposer votre clé avant 11h pour le nettoyage. Attention, le nettoyable c'est uniquement changement des serviettes de bain, un coup de balais. Les draps non changé les toilettes qui sentaient mauvais non nettoyé! Bref La seule chose positive c'est que la gérante et son fils sont très gentil et serviable! Je n'ai pas pris de photos ça me dégoûté!

這家酒店的地理位置絕佳（位於大停泊島安靜的海灘）。房間很基本。酒店的電力斷斷續續的，半夜時就斷了，所以睡得不是很舒服。缺點：（1）飲用水不是免費的（1.5升的水要4林吉特），因為這個島非常熱，所以其實挺貴的。（2）房費不包括食物。餐廳的食物很貴，價錢很亂。一份炒飯或者三明治要超過12林吉特，而且還需要付3林吉特的政府税，如果要帶走的話，需要多花2林吉特。所以一頓簡單的午餐就需要花超過17林吉特。（3）食物很油。蔬菜和肉都是烹飪過的，外面全是油。我們跟廚房反映了之後，食物還是很油。
