got ground floor room and did not enjoy this place at all sorry, cleaning not a very high standard, footpath right outside our room, no air con or safe in our room, have stayed in other places in PR a few times and I am sorry Montebello is not for us.

I stayed here for a week on my first ever solo holiday and it was just perfect for me! I paid for a sea view room and the views did not disappoint. Even at night, all the other hotels were lit up, it was beautiful. The balcony is a great size and havin my own loungers was perfect considering I was on my own. So I could sunbathe with my music on and pop into my fridge and make my own drinks and get snacks. The supermarket at the hotel is very reasonably priced so I stocked up on my fave food and drinks. Food down at the pool was good and the staff were lovely. The surrounding area has plenty places to eat and your not far from the beach. You need to try the ice cream parlours near the beach!! I slept like a baby every night, apart from the odd drunk person shouting at daft o'clock but it is a holiday! I am planning on returning here next May. That's how happy I was.

Decent location but definitely for people who have a bit of stamina as very steep steps to get to (or taxi). Very small car park and pretty much nowhere to park. If you get a space on this car park, you risk being blocked by the others as they leave their cars in random places. No info given to reception of whose car it is. Room very dated and need a bit of TLC, but comfy beds and decent bathroom. Room relatively clean until you look closely. Then dust and dead flies. They are not cleaned every day. One of the cleaner knocked off my face oil bottle. Then she filled it with water. Unbelievable! Hotel snack bar near the pool serves filter coffee only. Restaurant is closed. I knew it wasn't the most modern one. But far from (as other reviews suggest) spotless clean.

Me and My partner came for a week break here and found the 1 one bedroom apartment more than enough. Massive balcony with 2 sunbeds and big table and chairs. Tv even had Sky sports! Pool bar has everything you need from breakfast to mid afternoon snaks and of course local largers and cocktails. We will definitely be back!

Room basic 2 single beds and a single sofa bed Huge balcony with only 2 sunbeds as a group of 3 would have been nice to have the extra bed. But great views and very spacious we were on floor 8 Kitchen equipped well 2 burner electric hob microwave and toaster Swimming pool was quiet but no ball games allowed and a little snack bar where u can get food and drinks restitant was closed. Good stocked supermarket on site There are 2 lifts one from reception to pool level which is 5 I think then another lift to take you down to level 1 where you can exit out on the road to the steps below to the town and the beach We were only provided with 2 towels a day which was not great for 3 adults and if your on a budget holiday like I was you can buy a pool towel/beach towel for 6 euros in the shop ideal Overall clean and spacious for a cheap holiday And would return if you are a couple there are no double beds

First time but not the last..... Great 10 day stay.... pool was fab, open 9am until 7pm..... pool bar was great, open from 9am until 11pm food finishes at 9pm.... food was great.... pizzas out of this world.... my room 601 was perfect... so clean and balcony was stunning didn't want to leave.....

Great hotel rooms really spacious loved sunloungers on balcony very clean 2nd time at these apts and will be back Sept would love a pool view apt this time pool bar was excellent food lovely and gd supermarket 10 min walk down to centre cleaners in every day lovely pleasant staff all round great apts

room/cell 211 not pleasant at all, as soon as we saw it we asked to be moved but the language barrier seemed to be the problem so nothing was done, tiny grubby room with slimline mattress topper to add to our discomfort, no balcony as we were on ground floor with entrance footpath right next to us so no privacy what so ever, only two power sockets behind bed , cleaners came in pretty regularly to splash bleach and disinfectant about, the lack of air con was a problem at night as we could not leave sliding door open because of footpath right next to us. we did not use any other facilities pool/bar so cannot add comment, would not consider staying there again.
