Servatur Hartaguna - Adults Only

High quality modern apartments. We had a jacuzzi suite on the ground floor which had a very large terrace overlooking a small garden area and had a slight sea view. It got the sun between 8am and 4pm. The bathroom was small but nice with good water pressure and good lighting. The kitchen was well equipped however was missing salt and oil which we had to buy which seemed a waste. The hob is modern induction which made cooking quick and easy. The beds were very comfy however pillows were too soft for my liking, I'd bring a firm pillow with me if I were to return. The upper pool area was immaculate with plenty of sunbeds. There was lots of room for everyone, It only ever seemed half full even though the hotel was fully booked. The pool was warm enough for end of February. What I liked most about this hotel is the relaxing atmosphere. There were no strict rules like other hotels. We even enjoyed a late night dip in the pool without issue. The reception staff and cleaners were all very friendly. Puerto Rico in general is fantastic. A seemingly unlimited choice of bars and restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. Weather is usually the best of the canary islands due to it's location and sheltered from the wind. Overall, if you're fit enough to climb the many many steps between the main center, I think this hotel is incredible value and is of a very high standard. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

I was so cross reading the last review implying that we were all geriatrics simply because we don't like banging music and silly games round the pool all day. We are certainly not in the "purple rinse brigade " but wanted a peaceful holiday after a couple of previous hectic long-haul ones. We chose this hotel particularly because it looked so quiet. It is not true that there are no sunbeds by the pool, we were always a matter of a couple of feet away. The snack bar does, in my opinion, close too early, but we just sat on our balcony with a drink after a day's sunbathing, admiring the spectacular views. I can't believe this person did not do proper research, it was obvious from the reviews it was a quiet hotel. A party hotel it is NOT, so if that's what you want go somewhere else and don't insult people who enjoy something different.

Hotel was excellent, very clean and bright. ROOM Room was cleaned 5 days a week, you were also given a pool towel and in room safe for FREE. There was a microwave, hob, kettle, fridge and toaster in room, handy as only self catering option avialable. There was little to no space to hang dresses etc, two small cabinets for everything else but we managed ok. There was only 1 mirror which was in the bathroom, could have dione with one in the room. Balcony was brilliant even though we were on the ground floor we were overlooking the town and sea views, also had Astroturf down so nice to walk on and a good table and chairs. Air con was very good. POOL Absolutely excellent position, same lovely views as from room. Pool was cool but as we were on the right hand side of the valley (looking towards the sea) it warmed up as had sun all day. Plenty of sunbeds, umbrella's and tables / chairs, no rush at all. Never ate at the pool bar but everything we saw looked very good. Unfortunately the pool bar closes around 5pm so needed to go out for drinks etc STAFF Reception staff very friendly and helpful LOCATION Set UP on the hillside, lovely views but was quite a walk down to resort centre, checked once and there was 850 footsteps registered on my Fitbit and this included nearly 190 stairs!! Taxis were available for approx 4 or 5 euros but we never needed one. All of the supermarkets are in the town - everything you could need, however there was a small shop in the hotel Monte Bello which was just across the road and they had fresh bread baking all day, As well as water, juices, milk at reasonable prices. RESORT When you've walked the walk you wont be disappointed, large selection of shops and bars and restaurants in both the new and old shopping centres which are next door to each other, would need another review to cover the available shopping experiences and dining options. Evening meals came in anywhere between 30 and 50 euros for the 2 of us - food and a drink. Harbour with beach was nice and approx 20 mins walk from hotel. Took a boat to Mogan Bay for the day just to see somewhere else. Will definitely go back for winter sun at some time in the future

Wow what to say... Avoid avoid avoid. Purple rinse brigade at this hotel. Absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever, no hotel bar and no services at all. There is a snack bar open 12-4 but actually closes at 3:30 so forget having that pint or cocktail after a day of sunbathing. Pool is at one end of the area with absolutely no sunbeds around it so forget any pool atmosphere or people watching swimming. Hotel is gorgeous for the 90 plus but if you're looking for at least something that resembles a good time then avoid avoid avoid. No music...nothing. Cant even have a conversation in the hotel because you can hear a pin drop at all times. Oh also the jacuzzi doesn't exist, its a rust bucket being demolished.....right next to your head whilst sunbathing.

Relaxing hotel in a quiet location, nice pool area with a small bar and somewhere to eat breakfast and lunch, bar closes at 4pm in January, it would have been nice to have it open til 6pm as it was 28 degrees. The hotel is very clean and modern, and well worth another star. No shop on site, but in the hotel opposite there is a small shop with fresh baguettes baked every day, all reasonably priced. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. The route down to sea level is via hilly pavement and 200 steps, not so bad walking down but worth the €4.80 taxi fair back up. Definitely returning to this hotel.

Stayed for a week in October. the hotel was lovely. Very chilled and relaxing hotel. There were no sunbed wars. Pool bar prices were reasonable & the food was really nice. 2 for 1 cocktails 12-1 daily. The pool was quite cold, but OK once you're in. The views from the pool, looking out onto the harbour, were fantastic. The view from the room, looking out onto the Commercial Centre, were also lovely. It looked gorgeous at night when everywhere was lit up. The only down side for me, was the fact there is no bar on site, once the pool bar has closed at 5pm there's no other options, but that certainly didn't ruin my holiday, it just would have nice to be able been to grab a drink whilst waiting for friends. I would definitely stay here again.
