All the staff at Oasis and La Barca were very friendly and helpful. I had a great balcony with view of ocean. The town of Puerto Escondido had beautiful beaches and I felt safe there.

Our trip to stay at La Barca surf house was amazing. We stayed in La Proa and the four of us felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful rooms and slept soundly each night in the AC. We spent a lot of time on the balcony relaxing under the fan after surfing lessons. The atmosphere and common spaces are wonderful: clean, comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming. We used the shaded tables to study or do homework after Spanish classes. The pool has shade and sun and hits just right anytime. The layout of the spaces promotes privacy and community at the same time, I’ve never seen anything like it. We also loved the palapa upstairs after sunset for yoga. The chill location is great: close to surfing, restaurants, town, and Cafe Nopal. We really loved our stay. It was easy to meet people, have privacy, and relax.
