Just back from our first visit to Mar Azul although been to Matagorda numerous times. The location of the apartments is great in a quiet area and only minutes walk from the beach , bars and restaurants. The apartments had everything you need and were very clean. All the staff were very friendly and made for a great break. Only downside was that the pool was closed and drained for works towards the end of our holiday without any notice or communication.

Another great holiday,every thing you need close by,great pool bar run by Katy and Dave,laima is on hand to help,close to shops and bars and supermarkets,well kept complex,a short walk to the beach,lovely sandy beach just a short walk away

Stayed here again December 23. Lovely little place. Really nice people we’ve met before. All very friendly & would help you out. Laima the manager always obliging. Only thing was this time, the weather was a bit hit & miss. More miss than hit. 😏

Where to start! This complex is superb in every way! The bungalows are lovely luttle home from homes, complex is spotless & pretty. Laima on reception is so helpful & quick to respond to messages. The pool area is superb, comfy sunbeds & never a problem getting one. The pool bar is run by Dave & Katie who are just lovely & so friendly. Lovely food, cheap drinks & loads of banter! Mins walk from Matagorda bars, restaurants & beach. This is the only place I'll stay now....

Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely apartments all fitted out with everything you could need, pool was fantastic, the local area provided shops and great restaurants, we had a brill holiday. Already planning a return trip next spring.

Perfect stay at this small complex. We don't like big hotels, so this small complex of bungalows was perfect for us. The accommodation is great. Comfy beds, food showers, large TV, well equipped kitchen. The whole place is well maintained and spotless. Nothing negative to report. Ideally placed for beach, bars, bus stop and restaurants.There is a bar which sells food on the complex which seemed popular, the prices were good. We caught the bus from the airport, dropped us just 5 mins up the road. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Another great holiday bungalows are lovely coplex ikept very tidy,Laima is in reception and top class at her job,nothing to much trouble,dave and katie run the pool bar with a little help fromMiylah, Owner does a great job round the complex,great chalet cleaners

Lovely apartment set in a small complex. Water in the fridge on arrival which was just welcome as flight delayed so shops had closed. Lovely bar with fantastic friendly staff. Clean pool area with very comfortable sunbeds

Brilliant place. Only thing to say is, see you in November. We hope the weather is 24/25 degrees again. Also it would be nice if some of the lovely folks we met there last time. John, Sid ect. The bungalows are located around the pool, with a nice pool in the middle. Also there is a lovely little bar with Father & daughter running it. They are excellent with a smile on their faces, even when they are be hassled by all us holidaymakers.
