Plaza Azul

Brilliant location, lovely and clean and the staff are lovely. Pool is big, lovely snack bar. Great hotel at a bargain price, will definitely be back

We have just got back from a one week stay here with my husband, 13 year old son and parents. The location is good, out of the main ***** but only a 5-10 minute walk. There is a supermarket for basics across the road or a bigger one further down the hill. The apartments are fairly compact, the third person sleeps on the sofa which was also fine. They are basic but have in what you need. The beds/bedding etc are very clean but the floor area not and they are very tired around the floor tiling, dirty skirting boards and are in need of some TLC. Even after the cleaners have been the flooring is not very clean. There is no air con but not really needed as leaving the balcony door open or bed room window allows for some breeze to circulate. The pool area looks nice, the out side bar is good value but no chance you can get a sun bed u less u put your towel on at 630 to 7am despite it being stated in reception the pool does not open u til 930 and beds cannot be reserved. This needs policing as when we were going to the beach 10ish all the bed gone but hardly anyone on them!! The bar staff are lovely and friendly, the reception staff are too but we didn’t need to use reception much tbh. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the resort and the holiday was lovely but so would say the apartments are average at best.

Staff very nice, apartments are getting refurbished, agree because ours was a bit tired, pool area needs more beds to accommodate everyone, but overall it was pleasant enough

Absolutely lovely apartments, so clean, pool area lovely and staff so generous and friendly. Ideal location, opposite 2 supermarkets and an incredible bar - The Spinnaker, some of the best food I’ve had on island. The pool bar is fantastic and very fair prices. Staff at pool bar are lovely too. Was here for 10 days and already hoping to come back in January. Best apartments I’ve stayed in years.

Absolutely amazing apartments We stayed here for our honeymoon back in June 2012. Absolutely loved them and still do xx Stayed here last year and still love it Booked for 2025 as well staff friendly everything u need for your stay pool is amazing we stayed in B5 ground floor

100% recommend this place! This was my 3rd solo holiday and it was honestly great. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect! They even have a courtesy bathroom to use if you have to check out but have a later flight, and a lockable luggage room. I was in room A22 which was ideal as it was upstairs so i felt safer, and also perfect for me because it had the sun on the balcony all day!! So I had the choice to relax on the balcony, down at the pool or walking to the beach. Win win! The room was so clean, spacious and well equiped - frying pan/saucepan/plates/bowls/cups/mugs/etc etc... Toaster, kettle, microwave, electric hob and fridge with small freezer inside. They even provide toilet roll, bin bags and drying up towel which I wasn't expecting as self catering. Room was cleaned every other day and towels and bedding changed regularly. Lola was lovely and friendly when cleaning the room and left it smelling and looking amazing each time!! Location is great, less than 10minute walk to the nearest beach. 25min walk to playa Chica which is amazing for snorkeling and you can see fish even when less the knee deep in the water! You can hire a snorkel for €5 for the day. Only a 9 minute drive from the airport!! Lots of supermarkets near by - all very handy with lots of options. Reasonable prices and all roughly similar prices to eachother. Restaurants and gift shops all within a short walk. Thankyou plaza azul for being amazing!

Another lovely visit to these apartments. Apartments are basic but clean. They have everything you need. Beds are comfortable and clean but could do with more pillows. The apartments are cleaned regularly and towels and bedding changed. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool area is spotless and cleaned every night. The apartments are up a hill from the main Puert del carmen area, but it's not too difficult to walk up. There's a shop on the corner opposite and a larger supermarket just a few hundred yards down the road. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others

This is a fantastic little place, very clean and good location. Good facilities and very friendly staff.

Once again had a great time at Plaza Azul this time for my birthday with family and friends. My granddaughter was quite ill and was very sick making a lot of mess , the staff were very good providing clean towels and bedding whenever needed they also sorted a doctor out for her and translated all her prescriptions for us really helpful and very professional , so a big thank you to all the staff Will be back later in the year
