Spent an amazing 10 days at this hotel with my husband, the staff were lovely, the rooms spacious, the views perfect, breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. The most relaxing adults only hotel I have ever stayed at, loved that there was no loud music or noisy people at the pool, just perfecly chilled. A great spot to watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. The rooms were very clean, my only issue was that we had to ask for fresh bath towels as these didn't get changed, but it wasn't a problem. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed for a week at Royal Marina Suites in October, 2024. We requested an Ocean Suite on the higher of the two floors available to Ocean Suites and the request was granted (suite 203), so that was our holiday off to a good start and it just got better. Our suite was superbly appointed, a bathroom with bath and shower, a comfortable bed, a well furnished lounge area with refrigerator, mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities and had a large balcony, with sun beds, overlooking the entry point to Puerto Calero marina. Breakfasts were of high quality, served overlooking the pool area, and the small bar, adjacent to the restaurant area, served a wide range of drinks, including a local draught beer, “Nao”, which I particularly enjoyed. Best of all, though, were the people who worked at Royal Marina Suites, without exception, friendly and anxious to please all guests. We look forward to another stay at Royal marina Suites in the not too distant future.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel and throughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that we will book again for next year. The hotel itself is lovely, it’s so quiet and relaxing but the only downside is the pool/breakfast staff! They seem very uninterested in trying to make your stay the perfect experience. The daytime bar isn’t maned which is fair enough, but when you do find someone to order a drink they seem very uninterested and reluctant. For instance, on one occasion we pointed out that the glass was dirty just before they pored the drink, they tutted, walked off, got another glass and preceded to tip the ice from the dirty glass into the clean glass ! Also breakfast time seemed to be a miserable affair for the staff, something me and my wife started to find quite comical. This was such a shame as reception staff and cleaning staff went out of their way to make you feel extremely welcome. Hopefully by next year the waiting staff will match the enthusiasm of the others.

My wife and I spent a lovely peaceful holiday at the Royal Marina Suites 13th-20th August and confirm the abundance of superlatives bestowed upon it by previous reviewers. The room is very spacious , with large comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, wi-fi and first class sea view. Should lying by the pool not appeal, the generously large secluded balcony has a table, 2 comfortable chairs plus 2 stylish and comfortable sun beds. It can get a bit warm as the surrounding walls providing the balcony privacy plus the glass panels at the front can weaken a much welcome cooling sea breeze but still a lovely option to have. The bathroom is stunning with a fabulous large ceiling shower and huge round window looking firstly into your room then onto the world outside. Breakfast has an ample and varied selection of fruit, cold meat, bread, rolls etc with the added bonus of the hot food options being cooked to order. The freshly squeezed orange juice is not to be missed, it’s delicious. The infinity pool is all one safe depth. There is also a small jacuzzi. All in all the Royal Marina Suites ticked the boxes of what we wanted for our weeks stay. Finally It would be remiss of me not to mention all the staff who were all very courteous and work hard maintaining the high standards this boutique hotel sets for itself. A special thank you to Sindo at reception for his much appreciated assistance.

Honestly cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Just coming to the end of a 10 night holiday and we are sad to be leaving. This is an all suite hotel, only 20 some odd rooms so really not busy. The rooms themselves are stunning with amazing views of the harbour, huge comfy beds, his and hers sinks and a rainfall shower with a porthole window so you can appreciate the view while you shower. There is a small but perfectly adequate gym and a lovely pool area with plenty of very comfortable loungers, which the staff meticulously clean every morning. Breakfast is cooked to order and brought to your table as well as cereal/fruit/pastries etc that you can help yourself to - really can’t fault the choice and the quality, 10 out of 10. This hotel is not for you if you want entertainment and a bar service at night, the bar closes at 630. For us this was a chance to totally relax in wonderful surroundings

Peaceful, quiet and very relaxing stay. Suites are large and bright with beautiful views of the ocean from the balconies. Air con is excellent in the suites and everywhere is immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts plentiful with a cold buffet and cooked to order menu. If you are looking for pool games, loud music and organised activities this is not the place for you. If you want a relaxing, quality, chill out then look no further. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful, smaller adults only hotel in PC. We stayed on level 100, so just one up from the pool level. Lovely large rooms with a good view of the harbour. The room was spotless and really well appointed. Great bathroom with twin sinks and rainfall shower from where you can look out onto the harbour. Good breakfasts with a choice of menu. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool (still had one chap running around at 6am reserving his four!) albeit the large room balconies have a pair of comfy sun loungers on them if you want to stay near your room. The only downside is that it can get very hot on the balconies and they are enclosed to three sides and the balcony glazing does block the breeze a bit. Really, just a really nice hotel, attentive but not over zealous staff and good facilities, Plenty of loungers, plenty of space, Technogym exercise machines and weights. Just a really nice place to do nothing but read, take a dip and have cold drinks. PC promenade about a five minute walk away .

We had the best two weeks staying at Royal Marina, it was first class from the moment we arrived until we left. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. As many have written before, the hotel is outstanding, location is spot on and just a short walk to the marina. The rooms are to a very high standard, super comfy beds, large bathroom, loads of space generally, great sun loungers on the terrace, everything we could have asked for. Cleaners everyday if you need them, stunning views for all of the rooms. Only 20ish rooms in the hotel so 40 couples around so doesn’t feel busy, plenty of sun loungers by the pool, which is really nice looking out across the sea. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and again to a high standard, could not fault it. The bar served great cocktails so rude not to sample them on your stay. Could have easily stayed longer and was gutted to leave. A nice relaxing two weeks in a stunning hotel, can’t wait to return.

Stayed for a week mid-January.We knew right from the start that we had made the right choice, the check in was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Been to Puerto Calero a number of times and this is the best stay by far.Forget Secrets Hotel along the road this hotel ticks all the boxes. No sun bed reservations, no grown men in football shirts or women with tacky tattoos, just nice normal people. The rooms as mentioned in other reviews are excellent and kept extremely clean. Will definitely return.
