Hotel Galapagos Tortuga Bay

The food was amazing, and everyone who worked there was super nice. All of the bedrooms were air conditioned, and the beds were comfy. When our flight out of the Galapagos was canceled, they let us stay for another night. It was just a really fun and beautiful place to stay.

I can’t even start to explain how incredible this hotel was! The rooms were clean and spacious but the service is what made my stay! I went here on a class trip and our whole trip was in awe of how kind the people were here. The food and the restaurant were so great, the amenities were so great, and the staff were just incredible. At one point I was sick and in the middle of the night the manager who was sleeping with his family got up and brought me a blanket. When we were supposed to leave the Galapagos our flight got cancelled we spent many hours trying to find a hotel for 16 people that would take us up at 8:00 at night and Tortuga bay was so kind and helpful in making our situation less stressful by allowing us to stay there on such late notice. When we got to the hotel late at night the manager was standing right inside waiting to help us. They still served us dinner even though it had closed over an hour ago, and the next day when our bus was late then even made us each popcorn for the plane ride. If you are ever staying on the Santa Cruz Island I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

We came from Portland, Oregon, USA, with a group of 15 middle school students. I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was, from day one to the very last day! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, kind, and generous in their efforts to ensure we felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed—just like being at home. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. They cleaned our rooms daily. We had students with dietary restrictions, and the hotel promptly created a meal plan with not just one option but two. They even offer a laundry service. Working with the administration was seamless and efficient. The team is outstanding, and their level of organization and professionalism is truly impressive. The hotel itself is fantastic—great rooms with large beds, a pool, hot tub, bar, ping-pong table, pool table, and plenty of areas to rest and relax. This place exceeded our expectations in every way!
