Hotel Isabel

Excellent hotel located right in the heart of Puebla downtown. The room was clean and the service at the front desk was courteous and prompt. This is really one of the best values in Puebla and would definitely recommend for anyone travelling on a slightly tighter budget!

Nice and central hotel with modern rooms. Our room didn't have a window but was a good size and clean.

The hotel did not hold the reservation and was fully booked when we arived, forcing us to look for another ooption at midnight.

As soon as we walked in the door, the experience started off on a bad foot. We were assigned a room that had not yet been cleaned and then we were relocated to a room full of visible mold. We requested to be moved but when asked if we used anything in the room, I communicated that I used toilet paper to blow my nose and flushed the paper down the toilet. We were then accompanied by staff to our room to confirm if the room was in condition to be changed. They walked in and immediately said no because the toilet paper was touched. After going back to front desk, I was called a liar about the bathroom when I had mentioned that prior to going upstairs. If that was going to be an issue then we shouldn’t have gone upstairs in the first place. They mentioned changing our room the next day but no effort was made to do so. All in all, this was such a horrible experience starting with the treatment of the staff, to the condition of the room, and on top of that super noisy throughout the night and you can’t even sleep.

Everything was great just a lot of noise at night from guests in the other rooms !

Great location, friendly staff, clean and a great option for a few days in Puebla at a great price.

room was ok and comfortable but super noisy, we called a couple of times because people coining in and out and super loud. reception desk didn't do anything, area around was laud too.

My first night I arrived no one greeted or welcomed me. I told the young girl I was here to check in. She didn’t know what I was Talking about. She then wanted me to fill out a guest card until another lady stepped in and told her to check the reservations. She found mine.. OMG! I was checked in then taken to my room. It was a dark, dingy, cell with stale odor of cigarette. I called down to say that this room wasn’t going to work for me since I was staying for 3 weeks. There was no natural light and I felt as if I were in a holding cell. Then they took me to a room where the air conditioner wasn’t working! Then they took me to a room with a double after I paid for a supieron king! I had been traveling for 14 hours and all I wanted to do was rest. No one ever followed up with me to check and see if I needed anything. I also asked the receptionist, Alejandra, regarding the difference of payment. The room I was given was cheaper than the one I originally paid for!!!! So, where is my reimbursement? Again, no one talked to me about anything. This place was more for locals than foreigners. Too much noise, day and night. The food at the restaurant was horrible. Staff either greeted you or ignored you. I felt very, very disappointed and think you should not list them on your website.
