La Villa

Beautiful property, centrally located and with a team who are really dedicated and do their best to make every guest comfortable. Anil & Surya did their extra bit making sure we got a deal on bike rental and local visits Amazing place sure to visit back again. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and lite. Shanwaz services were too good. A great place to have some private time with your partner. Check the place out of your ever in Pondi. PS: Can be a little tricky to locate the place. Make sure to call them before you visit.

We stayed here for 9 nights and would willingly have stayed 9 more. What was not to like. 'Villa' sums it up - it feels far more like a house than a hotel. And an exquisitely beautiful house at that - a mixture of weathered antiquity and sleek modernity - plopped in an oasis in the heart of 'White Town' with exotic plants and trees, including a mature mango tree whose branches we had to duck under to get to our room. Excellent food - either at La Villa itself or at their two sister properties - Villa Shanthi and the Spot - each offering its own unique menu. Every single member of staff looked after us so well that I won't begin to single anyone out. Though we have to give a special mention to Mr Subhajit De, who was our personal manager for our stay, uncomplainingly dealing with our needs - including procuring us an extra suitcase to accommodate all our Pondicherry shopping (the shops here are great!). I could go on... A wonderful little inclusion is a free minibar- restocked every day. That was a first for us. More than highly recommended!

Amazing stay that felt both like a staycation and a luxurious moment out of time. Each staff member I met was more than kind and helpful. Breakfast very good with no fuss but refined. Bonus for the pool and the terrace area for eating/chilling/working.

La Villa was simply fabulous. We were lucky enough to stay in two hotels in White Town, Puducherry over a two week period and La Villa was a great contrast to the other, an oasis of calm and luxury. La Villa is small boutique hotel with only six rooms, so it feels much more like a private villa than a hotel. We loved the Colonial architecture of the building and the interiors were beautifully designed. The courtyard is a green, shady area, perfect for breakfast whilst the verandah is a lovely place to sit, relax and read. The pool is particularly welcomed after a hot day exploring Puducherry. Marta and all the team at La Villa made our stay truly memorable. Every request met with attentive response. And as always, it's the people that make the difference and the staff at La Villa make it stand out. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

I never leave reviews but this hotel is wonderful, the staff is amazing. Lupin and Anil are fantastic. Great food, drinks, accommodations. Thank you for the fantastic stay! Nice jumping off point to explore all of pondi and surrounding area.
