Demeure des Vieux Bains

You must go see for yourself what an awesome experience this hotel is! An authentic experience, with great comfort, surrounded by beauty. The ancient architectural features combined with gardens make it beautiful. The owners could not be nicer or more welcoming.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here for a wedding which also took place on the property. Véronique and Olivier are excellent hosts and I strongly recommend staying at Demeure des Vieux Bains if you're in Provins.  We stayed in both Suite flammande and Recamier due to the availability while we were there and we actually quite enjoyed being able to experience them both. Both were well appointed, as were all the spaces on the property. Recamier is cozier than the flammande suite, but partially because you could basically hold a dance party in that suite. It's enormous! Truly a luxurious amount of space, but watch your head if you're taller than 5'5" on your way in. Breakfast was on the terrace each morning with a beautiful view of the courtyard, fresh pastries, orange juice, and coffee. It's a truly lovely place to wake up to.  As far as the wedding reception went, Olivier and Véronique know what they're doing! All the food was delicious and the space was so flexible for the needs of the party. After the marvelous dinner, there was space to dance and many different areas to sit and chat, if that was more your speed. The courtyard was just as lovely lit up for an evening event as it was in the daylight.  It was a truly enjoyable trip, thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Superlatives fail me! This is a lovely property, very inviting, clean and well maintained. There is secure parking, inside the closed gates. We left the car and walked everywhere, nothing is very far. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. They got up early so we could have breakfast on our last morning there, before heading out on a very long drive. We enjoyed the beautiful setting for our breakfasts, and the croissants and rose petal jam were particularly exquisite. The dinner offered was also outstanding, featuring the freshest of local produce. The brie ruined me, no other brie will ever come close. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Beautiful overnight stay here, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of charm and character. Breakfast was delicious and served on the outside terrace, absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this place. Thank you for a lovely stay.

La proprietà è bellissima con immobili d' epoca e un bellissimo giardino . Accoglienza gentile e colazione molto buona servita con belle ceramiche in una splendida loggia . La camera ( suite ) decisamente " antica " e buia con arredi un po' troppo " delabre' ".

Cette très belle demeure du 12ème, rénovée et décorée avec goût est située à la jonction de la ville haute et basse, ce qui permet de visiter tout Provins à pied, sachant que les rues sont difficiles en voiture et qu’un parking fermé est à disposition.Ce lieu est très calme. L’accueil par Véronique, la propriétaire qui est sur tous les fronts, est chaleureux et prévoyant: installation dans notre suite Flamande , précisions sur la salle du petit-déjeuner, les heures de visite des monuments importants, pour lesquels elle nous offre un pass. La chambre est très propre, la literie de bonne qualité et le décor en rapport avec le moyen-âge.Le petit-déjeuner propose viennoiseries et charcuterie. Je conseille également la table d’hôte, où chacun mange à sa propre table et non sur une table commune; les mets préparés par le propriétaire sont goûteux. Séjour parfait. Excellent rapport qualité /prix. Il vaut mieux réserver directement sur le site de la Demeure des vieux bains.
