Weekend of October 6-8. Took my 2 kids here for a weekend to catch some end of summer sunshine! (Inset day weekend for school back in Uk). Pool was open and acceptable to my kids. Slightly cool for me. Seawater temperature was brilliant. Pleasantly warm. We spent time both at pool side and on the deserted beach. 5th floor of hotel had the hot tub pool open also. Hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Very well presented. Liked the home from home feel also. Bath tub would have been handy but shower was very good. Breakfast. Surpassed expectations for size of hotel. Very good quality. Kids obsessed with the orange squeeze machine to make their juice. Egg/pancake station cooking to order. Coffees and hot chocolates all to order. Great choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheeses. Location - bit of a walk from the Main Street of S Benedetto, especially with kids. In more residential suburb, pleasant all the same and nice kids park opposite hotel. Very close to nice pizza restaurant “del nord”. Walking away from the sea under the railway is a great gelateria. Would stay again at this time of year . Would likely rent a car from airport next time to enjoy more.

It doesn’t come cheap, but it is. Rooms are really outdated and all the property lacks maintenance and looks like abandoned to itself. The beach is 3 Km away and only reachable with an overcrowded train which goes through a bumpy road with no shade at all. Also the beach has a bar which closes in the hottest hours, therefore all guests are left with no access to water. No towel service at the beach - towels can be rent for 6,50 euro each only at the hotel and if you want to change them you need to rent it again during your stay. No room service. The few services provided have a strict schedule to follow: breakfast, lunch, dinner, kids activities, train to reach the beach, bars, pools, etc. In the evening they offer a selection of entertainment - the one for the kids are really lovely, but when it comes to the ones for adults the music is horrible and terribly loud. It goes ahead until midnight without respect for the guests that have young kids and/or are on vacation to relax. And this is a family resort or at leat this is how they advertise it! Food is ok, but nothing special compared to the quality you can experience in this part of Italy. Staff are nice, but clearly overloaded. I don’t recommend this place…. Really think before booking this place as they charge the whole amount of your vacation two weeks prior your arrival and there is no way for you to reduce your stay and get some form of refund when you realise it’s not the place where you were hoping to enjoy your vacation.

Very good quality of service as usual. This year the food was excellent and the pizzeria offered a super pizza (napolitan stile) !! awesome!!! I loved the restaurant at the beach also!! Special thanks to the waiter Angelo for the professionalism, kindness and accuracy in his assistance. About the pizzeria and beach restaurant, congrats to the manager Francesco for his excellent coordination, nice talking and attention to the Clients. Thanks even to Gianni, the archery teacher! The first one in my last 5 years who really instruct the Clients instead of simply make Secretary of the tournament! Good the attention on the anti CVD19 prescriptions ! The entire personell waired the mask all the time in any condition! Over standing ! The double turn and especially the all you can eat but " no self service" formula in the restaurant is a best practice to leave on for ever since it generate less chaos in the room and reduce the food waste. Feedback to get better: 1- the main night show must be better coordinate with the baby show in order to let the second restaurant turn to attend both! 2-what really disappointed me it's the lack of prinzing in any competitions 😕! Probably the famous challenge in Pescara cannot be done this year, but why don't give to the winners even a simple recognition like a "fake "medal plus a bonus for the bar, for the shop or for anything else. This year they didn't run neither the awarding celebration on the stage stage! Very very cold and unusual! 3-last but not least, I see too much plastic waste! it's time to implement a more sustainable policy ! Plastic glass at the Bar for each water drink can be replaced by a new format like paper glass one shot. Finally, waste recycling is totally absent. Anyway, very pleasant week!

Vorrei ringraziare lo Chef Vincenzo per l’attenzione al senza glutine per i loro ospiti celiaci: tutte le verdure sono cucinate a vapore separatamente e non c’è rischio di contaminazione, nel buffet è presente un reparto dove sia a pranzo che a cena si può scegliere fra pasta senza glutine o riso e due tipi di condimento sempre senza glutine. C’è scelta anche fra i secondi di carne o pesce. Se si desidera il dolce hanno due tipi di torta senza glutine. Pane senza glutine confezionato in singole porzioni a richiesta. Anche al ristorante al mare si trovano pietanze senza glutine. Unica nota negativa: occorre maggior attenzione del personale che “sporziona” in quanto a volte alcune pietanze possono essere contaminate dall’operatore che utilizza posate di altre portate che hanno glutine.

Premesso che non ho mai fatto recensioni in negativo. Permesso che avendo viaggiato molto mi è capitato di alloggiare nelle più svariate tipologie di strutture, dai B&B ai resort 5 stelle. Settando ogni aspettativa e ogni bagaglio sulla tipologia di struttura scelta. Sono rimasta veramente basita nel constatare che questo resort sia un 4 stelle. Probabilmente solo grazie al NUMERO delle camere e non di certo per la loro cura o pulizia. Un “4 stelle” veramente fatiscente dalla sporcizia nei corridoi, alle formiche nelle stanze al 2 piano, ascensori che sembrano set di film horror, giardini in evidente stato di sofferenza anch’essi probabilmente resti di film post apocalittici, set di cortesia di un RESORT 4 STELLE composto da una saponetta e uno shampo-doccia sufficiente a lavare i piedi, a conferma di ciò nella doccia c’è solo un doccino per i piedi, phon di Barbie, blatte in ogni dove per non parlare della sala ristorazione dove ho visto rimboccare le pentole da portata con i piatti di pasta avanzata da altri commensali e dove OGNI PERSONA tocca il pane con le mani e lo affetta per poi il restante farlo mangiare agli altri, cosa alquanto inconcepibile anche in epoca pre-pandemia. Mi spiace perché il potenziale della struttura c’è, ma non basta avere una grande e un tempo bella struttura, bisogna anche saperla mantenere curata e pulita. Probabilmente c’è evidente mancanza di personale addetto a tali compiti. Nello stesso stato di fatiscenza vertono le aree comuni delle quali non ho potuto pubblicare foto perché erano sempre presenti volti di persone. Dalle foto di altre persone, anche recenti è evidente che ci siano diverse tipologie di stanze, alcune magari degne del numero di stelle, ma la qualità di un hotel si valutata dalle stanze standard e non da un paio di suite tirate a lucido. Non parlerò ad esempio della distanza dal mare, dell’aspetto carcerario dei blocchi stanze, o dell’oscuro motivo per il quale esse siano circondate da reti da pesca che raccolgono ed evidenziano ancora più sporcizia, poiché il resto sono tutti giudizi fondati su gusti personali e che se fossero stati solo quelli neanche avrei perso tempo a fare il commento. Forse meglio una struttura più modesta ma pulita. Con piacere ho notato un po’ migliore l’area della piscina nella zona Calane’. (Che non è il Valentino). Note positive sono nel personale molto gentile e disponibile, animazione simpatica e divertente. Per il resto mi sento di consigliarvi il 5 stelle vicino se non volete tentare la sorte su quale stanza vi capiterà.

Pasquale e Gabriele chef dei primi BRAVISSIMI ! ; bravissimo anche Antonio , cameriere gentile disponile e pure bello bello! Esperienza soddisfacente , vissuta con più di 900 ottici in contemporanea, quindi non semplice da gestire. Tutto il personale sempre attento ad ogni esigenza. Consigliato !

Villaggio molto grande ma un po’ datato.. distante dal mare, ma la passeggiata in trenino è piacevole.. specialmente se a bordo ci trovi i ragazzi dell’animazione 😊 Piscine molto belle .. personale sempre molto gentile e disponibile. Ma il top è stato il cibo.. in 25 anni di villaggi non ho mai mangiato pasta perché non la amo. Ma lo chef Pasquale con la sua simpatia.. cordialità.. e sopratutto la sua bravura e’ riuscito a farmi mangiare degli ottimi e succulenti primi piatti 🥰

La struttura nel suo complesso è molto bella, i bar, le piscine, i ristoranti, così come i percorsi delle passeggiate che si possono fare tra i vari villaggi presenti nel comprensorio I ragazzi dell’animazione sono simpatici ma non invadenti Il cibo del ristorante è molto buono e vario I ragazzi dello staff sono veramente gentili e disponibili ma molto molto disorganizzati (suppongo non per colpa loro) Le camere molto vissute con letti e cuscini scomodi, il bagno molto lontano dalla concezione di un 4 stelle La nostra nello specifico era molto piccola, per due adulti e una bambina piccola non c’era spazio per girarsi Anche la pulizia non è delle migliori, testiera del letto sporca, come anche l’interno dell’armadio, asciugamani macchiati Nota dolente: una quantità abnorme di zanzare dovuta anche agli stagni vicino alle camere In conclusione la struttura non ha proprio tutte le caratteristiche che ci si aspetterebbe da un 4 stelle, salvano il tutto il cibo ottimo e gli ambienti esterni
