This could be wonderful but it is let down by some small - but important - touches. On arrival we were given a lovely bottle of wine. We got to the room to find that not only was there no bottle opener but there were no glasses. We talked to others and this was the same in for every room. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. It had been a cow shed in a previous existence but had been renovated to provide impressive hotel accommodation. The bed was enormous, with beautiful, crisp sheets. It was my first experience of a memory foam mattress; it was actually rather comfortable. The bathroom had everything, including a decent shower. Unfortunately the cistern screamed when flushed, a hideous noise so not to be recommended at night. It might have been October but the daily temperature was around 28degs C. There were no sun loungers. Anywhere. I accept that the pool was closed but a lounger in the courtyard would have been appreciated. No bar. Seriously! We were in the middle of nowhere but we couldn't get a drink. The cans in the fridge didn't quite cut it; a single beer a single cola; a single . . .etc, etc - you get the picture. No kettle. This was weird because there were two old fashioned cooking rings but no kettle. We tried heating water in one of the two enormous cooking pans but, apart from heating up the whole sink unit - and the taps - the electric rings weren't very efficient. There was a coffee pot but I don't think it had been used in a few years judging by the smell. You will need ear plugs because the silence of the rural night is split by the incessant sound of several unusual owls and then, at around 02:00 we were awoken by baying dogs, which was rather unnerving. However, in its favour, the staff are all very friendly and helpful; the restaurant is good; the wine from the onsite vineyard is excellent. If they would just address the tiny details it would be fabulous. Remember: glasses; bottle opener; kettle; bar and access to sun loungers. That's all you need to make it a good 4 stars.

We had booked a stay here for three nights through a travel agent. While the location is very nice and it’s close to the beach, the chalets look “tired” but clean, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is not cosy at all. The food is okayish but not special, the same applies to the breakfast buffet. The coffee was excellent. We also learned that the pool closes mid- September, something we were not aware of. The complementary wine tasting by (the owner) Nick was really nice.

This place was Amazing. Such a great experience staying in this beautiful historic property. Very clean and the staff was so accommodating.

I'd highly recommend this masseria. The rooms are cozy and come with very comfy beds. The staff is kind and attentive. They serve a generous and varied breakfast that includes some delicious Apulian local products. It is surrounded by beautiful vineyards where you can stroll at sunset time.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo posto meraviglioso dal 21 al 28 giugno 2025. Un gruppo di amici formato da 3 coppie e 2 bambine di 1 e 2 anni. Una vacanza indimenticabile grazie soprattutto alla gentilezza, simpatia, disponibilità di tutto lo staff e alla magia della tenuta che ha reso tutto perfetto! Partiamo dalle stanze situate in graziosi cottage immersi nella tranquillità della pineta. Forniti di tutto il necessario (tv, phon, frigobar), puliti (pulizie giornaliere effettuate da signore gentilissime e simpaticissime che ci hanno addirittura fornito appositi sacchetti per i pannolini delle bimbe), confortevoli (lenzuola e coperte morbide e profumate che ti fanno sentire a casa), profumati (chiudendo gli occhi sentiamo ancora quel dolce profumo che ci ha deliziato dal primo giorno) e soprattutto freschi grazie ai condizionatori che ci hanno permesso di dormire sonni sereni nonostante le elevate temperature di questo giungo "bollente". L'area piscina perfetta per godere di un momento di relax e molto apprezzata dalle bimbe, tappa fissa dopo una giornata di mare! Come iniziare al meglio la giornata in vacanza se non con un'ottima colazione presso il bar della piscina.... dal dolce al salato, passando per la frutta fresca, la spremuta di arancia e le torte fatte in casa! Il tutto completato da un servizio caffetteria impeccabile! La cena... il nostro memento più bello! All'interno della corte del corpo centrale illuminata da una tenda di lampadine, tavolini in legno con vasetti di fiorellini colorati e una mise en place essenziale ed elegante. Menù vario composto da piatti sublimi! Un primo e un secondo a scelta, un piatto di benvenuto ogni sera diverso e infine una vasta scelta di squisiti dessert. Complimenti allo chef!! Non possiamo non parlare del menù personalizzato ogni giorno per le bambine in base alle nostre richieste e completo di servizio di asporto in camera per permetterci di farle mangiare prima e in tranquillità! Un grazie sincero a tutto lo staff, Felice, Alessandro, Brenda, il direttore e tutti gli altri per la disponibilità, la gentilezza, la simpatia e la pazienza! Torneremo sicuramente e non solo per una settimana!! Fabiana, Clarissa, Sabrina, Andrea, Rodolfo, Daniele e le piccole Matilde e Flaminia.

La Tenuta del Barco è un luogo incantevole, dove tutto parla di cura, gusto e accoglienza autentica. Ogni ambiente è curato nei dettagli, immerso in una natura che rigenera e incornicia perfettamente l’eleganza sobria della struttura. Un ringraziamento sincero alla gentilissima Branda, alle sue straordinarie collaboratrici e al direttore, per la disponibilità, la cortesia e la professionalità con cui ci hanno accolti. La sensazione è quella di essere ospiti speciali, non semplici clienti. Tutto è stato impeccabile: la location, il servizio, l’atmosfera. Un’esperienza che ci porteremo nel cuore e che, senza dubbio, saremo felici di ripetere.
