Vin Hotel - Wine Resort and Agriturismo Montieri

We loved this place! Starri and his team are very welcoming and helpful. The location is superb with a great mixture of historical elements of the building and modern furniture. The restaurant has a small menu that changes every day with all fresh Ingredients, cooked with love and an impressive wine list! Every dinner, Starri & Noe showed us some new wines that we explored and they also organised a wine tasting for us in the region! Our stay has been wonderful and very much enjoyable and we’ll definitely come back!

What a wonderful stay we had ! Everything is thinked for the guests to be as comfortable as possible. The staff is very welcoming, available and gives great advices concerning visits in the surroundings. We ate several times at the hotel’s restaurant, that provides fresh and delicious dishes each day. We also opted for the pasta course that was an unbelievable moment. The shop with homemade products is a great plus to bring home a bit of Tuscany ! The weather was not perfect at the time of our stay but the warmness of the staff and the accommodations clearly made this week unforgettable ! Starri, the owner of the place, throughout his culture and passion for his work added a great value to our discovery of the region. We cannot wait to come back :)

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a pristine natural environment surrounded by vineyards and the culture of the Toscane countryside. We visited there with a group of friends and had the best of time with surprises every day. The young entrepreneur and owner Starri took care of us like family and made this into an all memorable experience. Great views, trails for hiking, wine tasting excursion in the region and olive picking in their own Olive Garden. Thank you very much and I recommend this place to everyone looking to relax and unwind from their busy lives.

Our room was large, clean and had a really nice rustic feel. The bed and pillow were comfortable as well. This is the only hotel which I have stayed in where they have a wine machine, this was a really nice extra and it was also possible to make your own drinks etc. The view from the pool is great! Nice interior in both the common and private areas and very nice staff! OK pricerange for the hotel considering the quality. In our opinion, the hotel does not have the elegance/finesse of a boutique hotel quite yet. It is not possible to swim in the pool, but it is OK to cool down in. The property/garden/courtyard is not very well maintained and there are no parasols by the pool. The food at dinner did not meet our expectations, which were quite high after having lookeed at pictures etc. on social media. Both the look and the taste of the food could be improved a lot. However, we suspect that the main chef was not present this evening, which could explain the mediocre food. The dinner is served in the same space as the breakfast. The space was OK but nothing extra. The breakfast was OK, but the furniture outside at the breakfast terrace, especially the tables, were a bit worn out. However, this could easily be covered with nice tablecloths. The location of the hotel is quite remote. This is not necessarily something negative, but is good to know. All in all, the hotel itself is ok/good considering the pricerange, but the garden and the details should be improved for it to reach its full potential and boutique standard. 3,5 out of 5 stars would be our rating, but since it is not possible to give half stars, we gave it 3/5.

We dropped by this place a bit randomly, but what a surprise we got. This is truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the good life. The hosts are absolutely fantastic and offer themselves in a way you rarely experience. The owner himself, a young Icelandic boy, is very passionate about the place, local food, wine and what the area has to offer. He also arranged a wine tasting which was both, generous, fun and educational. We would also like to give him big thank`s for a fantastic upgrade that really made our stay amazing.

Great experience. Starri the owner introduced many wines for us to taste, and the stay was very worth it. The bed was very soft and the pool and nature surrounding us had a very relaxing atmosphere. They have built something very special at the hotel restaurant. The dishes were different every night and you had the choice to pick whether you want to do a wine pairing. I recommend to always say yes. I discovered many neighbouring tuscan wines, me and my wife and children all enjoyed the experience. The front desk also made recommendations for where you can go and what you can visit during the day if you do not want to stay at the hotel. We went to several towns nearby. Thank you Starri, we will be back
