This hotel is beautiful and has a lot of charm. It's in the perfect location for all the activity in downtown Prescott. The piano player in the lobby was such a nice touch and we really enjoyed listening to him play. It's kind of loud, but to be expected for the location and they do provide earplugs. Great historical spot!

Very historic hotel and you get exactly that with no complaints. Rooms simple and very clean. Beds comfortable and slept very well. Perfect location right on Whiskey Row.

Right on Whiskey Row, short walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Old time charm with classy oak and brass finishings and retro look. We loved it!

New owner shut water off from 10pm to 6am
Advertised amenities did not exist. On site parking 3 to 4 blocks away in public parking garage. Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis.

Good Hotel. Old is not excuse to declare bad. The problem with old is maintenance. The bathroom door was not closing properly. The locks on main door a little wobbly. The bathroom has some sort of exaust that is more than noise. You could hear that all night long. Not very relaxing. Went for checkout and the lady present did not know how to do it. She told me the lady that knew how to do it was going to be there 2 hours later. Maybe this Hotel was grand bam when new. Now, not even close. I was not so hard on the stars though.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times, but last night our room was definitely a tad small. When we left this morning the door almost didn’t shut because the corner of the bed was in the way. All the e other times our room has been fine. If you’re noise sensitive maybe take a fan or noise machine. The people who work at the hotel and restaurant are super nice. It’s a very convenient place to stay as far as being right downtown.

Faded, but still grand, bathrooms are dated as are the carpets, but the location and staff more than made up for it - the bed was comfortable, the room was what we expected. We stayed the previous night in the sister hotel in Gallup NM, and saw the investment going in without changing the character - we will be back.

Enjoyed this property immensely; however, I was hoping to enjoy a room with a street view, though, and Room 331 was truly disappointing in that sense.
The service staff were polite & friendly.
