Hotel Galassia

I stayed at Hotel Galassia one week and I enjoyed everything. The location is very nice. We had a warm welcome at the reception on arrival. The room was warm and comfortable and the food was very nice. Professional and friendly staff. I will stay again.

i went here on a school ski trip and i was mortified. We arrived at our rooms to discover hardly any storage space, dirty mattresses, a manky, ratty blanket and paper thin sheets which were meant to be our duvets. Their were bolts missing in the bunk bed which made it unsturdy and unsafe and when you climbed up, the whole bed moved and almost tipped over. Many beds broke in other students rooms due to this. The bathroom wasn’t awful but when we first arrived, the water from the tap was cloudy and sometimes even brown which then prevented us from being able to brush our teeth or wash our hands without using our own bottled water. Also the shower rarely had hot water. However, the worst part was definitely the food. I hardly ate a single meal when I was at this hotel because the food was raw and overall grim. I can’t believe that this hotel would actually feed people food like this, every night we had to either buy food from the shops down the road or eat something that we brought with us. We were also told that there would be entertainment and a pool to go in, which were both lies as there was no entertainment and the pool was closed the whole time. Finally, due to the lift being broken, we had to carry our extremely heavy suitcases up the stairs which is a safety hazard. Therefore, we were all buzzing to get home.

I took 50 children and 6 staff to the Hotel Galassia in February half-term 2023. I really liked the hotel. Good points: -Location is great. It's ski in, ski out, unless you're a complete beginner in which case you'd startb in the nursery slope at the bottom. There's an underground corridor which takes you to the hotel's ski and boot storage rooms. Then you walk through the underground garage and you're 50 metres from the middle of the main Prato Nevoso blue run. The beginners were skiing from here as well after a couple of days. The Beppe hire shop is also next to the piste here. Very friendly guy called Luca, speaking excellent English, quickly solved any issues we had with out equipment. -Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Shout out to the manager, Marco. One of our students broke his collar bone on the last day. An ambulance took us to the hospital, 30 or so minutes away on the town of Mondovi. Marco picked us up afterwards and got us safely back to the hotel. Make sure you have an EHIC/GHIC card if you're travelling from the UK, as the xray and consultation with the doctor in the hospital was free with this. It costs 150 Euro if you use the medical centre in Prato Nevoso though - we had a fractured thumb earlier in the week. -Rooms are clean. They are cleaned daily to a very high standard, with my clothes even being folded! -The bar is a big space, and there are some smaller rooms you can use for quiz night, movie night, etc. Also a small room with a pool table. Negative points: -I'd describe the food as functional. Nice continental buffet breakfast, with juice and a hot drink machine. Lunch was a bowl of pasta and sauce each day, with fruit available. Dinner was 3 courses. First course is another bowl of pasta and sauce, meat or fish based main, and a small Italian dessert. Main courses portion size was a bit small, and there was barely a vegetable in sight. Conclusion: I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a school ski trip. The price was good, and if the food was better I'd give it the full 5 star rating. A bit about Prato Nevoso. This is an excellent resort for beginners and intermediates, and they can make lots of progression. It's almost all blue and red runs, and the beginners were getting across to Artesina by the end of the week. Also really enjoyed the snow park in Prato Nevoso. Lots of box/pipe/rail features of varying difficulty, along with small, medium and absolutely huge jumps. The whole snowpark is unnderneath the main Prato Nevoso chairlift, so there's plenty of entertainment on the chair ride. You also get a cheer from people on the lift if you fail or succeed doing a trick, which is fun! Most of the lifts are old and could do with being upgraded, but even in half-term the slopes were very quiet. No crowds at all. I'd prefer a quiet resort with old lifts to a crowded resort with modern lifts. There's a supermarket, a few bars, and a nice row of shops at the bottom of the the main Prato Nevoso ski runs.

Sono una docente appena tornata da un' uscita didattica di 5 giorni sulla neve con una scuola superiore della provincia di Piacenza. Già al nostro arrivo lo staff si è dimostrato disponibile e cordiale. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose e la posizione dell' hotel, vicino alle piste, ha consentito agli studenti già in grado di sciare di raggiungere comodamente i maestri di sci ( gli altri studenti hanno usufruito di un servizio navetta offerto dall' hotel).Viaggiando con un gruppo numeroso abbiamo potuto usufruire degli ampi spazi dell' hotel : dalla sala adiacente al bar a quella che ci e' stata riservata per i pasti ( cosa non da poco). Il cuoco e il personale della sala hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta prestando particolare attenzione a chi è intollerante,allergico o vegetariano/ vegano. Essendo con una scolaresca la possibilità di avere l' intrattenimento serale con discoteca e karaoke è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Un grazie a tutto il meraviglioso staff del Galassia e in particolare a Marco che ci ha fatto sentire come in famiglia

Siamo stati molto bene in questo Hotel… è super attrezzato; con piscina e idromassaggio… inoltre ha una buona posizione; garage e percheggi in abbondanza. Per chi scia può partire direttamente dall’ uscita del box dove ci sono le sky box… facendo solo pochi metri per immettersi direttamente nelle piste sciistiche. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente e le colazioni sono superlative con scelta abbondante. Il personale è davvero ospitale e gentile inoltre tengono l’hotel pulitissimo e ti danno asciugamani, saponette e bagnoschiuma. All’interno dell’hotel c’è anche il bar sempre aperto e, nella stessa sala vengono organizzate serate di karaoke e intrattenimento. Quasi tutti i giorni, per chi ama ballare; c’è anche la discoteca disponibile al piano terra. Super riscaldato!!! Ringrazio tutto il personale di cuore perché è stata una bella e piacevole vacanza. 🫶🏻❤️😘✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️🥰😍

Ho soggiornato all'Hotel Galassia per un Week-end. Molto gradita la possibilità di utilizzare la Piscina con l'idromassaggio. Buona la Cena. Sicuramente gli arredi ed i bagni dovrebbero essere aggiornati ma sono tenuti bene. Staff Ottimo

Devo essere sincera, sono stata parecchie volte qui sia con la famiglia che con gli amici, ma anche con il mio compagno...ci siamo sempre trovati molto bene come struttura è comodissima per chi scia ma anche per chi non è sportivo con una navetta super disponibile ed organizzata. Lo staff è giovanile e forse è proprio per questo che noi ci torniamo appena possibile! Di anno in anno vedo qualcosa di nuovo nelle camere ma sarebbe a parer mio esteticamente più bello se venissero rinnovati gli interni. Sulla cucina e la sala non si può dire nulla, noi eravamo partiti con formula B&B ma potendo aggiungere la cena e provandola dalla volta dopo ci siamo sempre fermati. Pulizia e disponibilità che non si trova ovunque e non è scontato. Ciao ciao Hotel Galassia ci si rivede presto!

Orribile. Non mi va l'acqua della vasca e manco ci sto. Siamo andati a chiedere in reception e la ragazza ci ha risposto addirittura scortesemente. Capisco che se altre persone usano l'acqua della doccia poi c'è un sovraccarico, però siamo nel 2024... Il cibo è minimal. Il phon va per 2 minuti e poi basta e poi è contaminato di peli pubici. Per sicurezza, però, mi sono portata il phon da casa ma manco quello entra nelle prese. Nel letto ci sono i capelli. La carta igienica era iniziata. Menomale che mi sono portata la mia da casa. Non c'è manco il telefono per chiamare!! Esperienza orribile, non lo consiglio a nessuno

Una stella perchè non posso metter di meno. Ho soggiornato in hotel dal 30 dicembre al 2 gennaio, con due amici. Struttura mai rinnovata o ristrutturata, insonorizzazione delle stanze pari a zero, bagni antiquati, mobili non ne parliamo. Ma ora passiamo alla parte peggiore: Completa mancanza di professionalità, ogni volta che veniva chiesta qualche informazione alla reception (esempio se erano disponibili delle navette per scendere in paese) non sapevano mai dar risposta, e non facevano neanche qualcosa per informarsi e dare una risposta. Il ristorante, cibo praticamente immangiabile, penso che per cucinare così male bisogna proprio mettersi di impegno, cenone di capodanno compreso. La notte del 31, circa alle 11 di sera ricevo un messaggio sul cellulare da parte dell’hotel dove mi viene detto che loro chiudono e che quindi la chiave della nostra camera verrà lasciata nella toppa della stanza, di conseguenza li chiamo e chiedo di lasciare la chiave al notturno (come andrebbe fatto in qualsiasi hotel normale) riesco a convincerli alla fine. Una volta tornato in hotel chiamo il notturno, non ha le chiavi, andiamo a vedere dalla stanza e le chiavi erano li, quindi siamo stati per buona parte della notte mentre eravamo fuori, con la possibilità che chiunque potesse entrare nella nostra stanza, cosa non così improbabile la notte di capodanno. In conclusione, per un prezzo simile, si può decisamente trovare molto di meglio, anche perché per migliorare ci vuole davvero poco.
