Atlantic Hotel

The rooms weren't like in the pictures. The windows of the first room they gave were too high, so the room was dark. If you have claustrophobia, you definitely can't stay. It's very noisy because the tram runs all night. There's a variety of breakfast options, but they're not tasty. The staff are not friendly at all. The only good thing about the hotel is that it's clean and centrally located. I don't recommend it.

We went to Prague for our Wedding Anniversary. The hotel was a short walk from the Old Town. The room was clean but in need of some refurbishment, especially in the bathroom, all functioned well. The reception staff were always helpful. Canteen staff less so!

Grat Hotel, great staff , great location . Rooms are a bit dated but spotless clean . Lovely breakfast . A good variety of hot and cold , replenished often. No bar or restaurant but Prague has no shortage of bars or restaurants. I wouldn't definitely choose this hotel if I go to Prague again . Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay .

This hotel is in a good location in Prague. We thought that breakfast was good with everything you would want in a budget hotel. What let this hotel down was the rooms! Worn doors, uncomfortable bed, old bathroom fittings, no mirror near the dressing table and a dirty carpet which definitely needed a good clean! Housekeeping cleaned the room each day to an adequate standard. No tea/coffee/kettle in room but ask at reception and will cost you five euros. Reported the safe as broken when we checked in and not fixed during our four day stay.

We arrived on 22/12/23 for a 5 day Chris**as break.First the good points, hotel is good location for the old town, reception staff were pleasant and helpful, room was clean bathroom/shower very good, room was well heated.Bad points We arrived around mid day and were planning on having lunch in the hotel as according hotels own website "On weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 02:30 p.m. we offer self-served lunches consisting of a great selection of traditional Czech meals, salads and home-made desserts for favorable prices." only to be told that the restaurant only does breakfast, no evening meals either.They said the restaurant stopped serving lunch and evening meals during covid and never resumed.There isn't even a bar. When we went to our room we discovered there wasn't any tea coffee or kettle, I enquired about this was told that would be 5 euro,first time I have ever encountered that in a hotel.The bedroom layout was a bit strange, the bed faced the window and the tv was on the adjacent wall to the right so you couldn't lay in bed and face the tv. Breakfast was good on the 23/24th plenty of choice,on xmas morning we came down to find no forks, no bread,no fried eggs very little scrambled eggs or bacon.A couple beside tried to get the attention of the lady behind the counter and she completely ignored them. A person from the kitchen arrived and I told her there no forks and before I could say no bread she had turned away,she came back with the forks and I told her no bread either she turned away again not a word and just a dour expression.

Honest review.. On arrival the reception team were polite and very helpful.. The location is good for the old town etc, but these are positive bit of my review.. The breakfast was plentiful, but cheap quality food, bland and tasteless, the staff never spoke, not even an acknowledgment, the hotel is very basic and I mean basic, it’s tired with no personality or charm, it’s unwelcoming with no a**osphere, the beds are very hard and uncomfortable.. you only get 1 pillow, no kettle for tea or coffee in the room, the lounge does not have a bar that is open, you can sit there, but it’s mostly in darkness and lacks any sort of welcome… I would not recommend this hotel..

If your looking for a budget hotel in the middle of the old town this is for you, the reception staff very friendly, breakfast is okay varied selection, the room could have done with a lick of paint walls marked and dirty, if you like a soft pillow then your fine no pillow choice like you get in some hotels what let this room down was there was no kettle or complementary tea/ coffee, the room looked like it had just come from IKEA all flat pack furnishings, wouldn’t say 3* more 2-2.5*, overall an enjoyable stay in Prague.

I like the place. It was very quiet, that allows me to have a really good rest after my dat. The street where it is allocated has a lot of options for dinning

The front desk employees were all efficient, pleasant and helpful 24/7. I was able to get a kettle and coffee cup set for 5 euros for my entire 8 day stay. They also helped me with printing a paper ticket for an event. And prior to my arrival, I had messaged them numerous times with questions and received prompt and courteous replies which made me confident in my hotel choice and they did not disappoint. My room was cleaned daily and coffee service replenished. The included breakfast was extensive with a variety of breads, hot breakfast items like sausages and eggs done several ways, cold salads, deli meats, yogurts, soups, pastries, cakes, desserts and cereals, and choices of beverages. Some items changed throughout the week which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a few steps from Cafe Imperial and a 2 minute walk to the Palladium at Republique Square where tram stops can be found. Crossing the square were 2 more dining options and through the Powder Gate and a further 5 minute walk were dining and shopping . The Old Town Square was 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel. My room was a streetside and a tad warm for me, however I like to sleep in a cold room. Upon opening the double locking windows, it was a bit noisy for me. Next time, I will request an interior room. And there will be a next time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Atlantic Hotel and Praha is definitely worth seeing again and again.
