Golden Prague Rooms

The hotel was lovely, great location. The only disadvantage was the experience with the checkout. The receptionist was extremely rude when we said we had accidentally left the key inside the door and they asked us to pay a £35 fee.The doors havent got door handles that worked so could not get back in.

In the city centre, 5 min walk to Astronomical Clock. Stay at family room, the room is spacious to host 4 people. Its also near Kafka statues, helpful receptionist. For water kettle need to ask to receptionist as they dont provide it in the room.

October 2023. I very much enjoyed my stay a nice clean room, 5 minute walk to the Astronomical Clock and 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge, plenty of eating and drinking establishments for all tastes and access to public transport close by. Would definitely book there again

Fantastic room in a fantastic location, loved the Nespresso coffee detail, staff not very friendly but anyway I would definitely repeat

Staff was so nice and helpful! Room was excellent and just as the pictures showed. It was so close to shopping and tourists attractions

Very spacious and luxurious rooms which was very unexpected for the relatively low price I paid. Location was incredible with a very short walk to the main square. Overall I would definitely return to this hotel when I next return to Prague.

DO NOT STAY HERE IN SUMMER!!! The rooms do not have aircon. It is super uncomfortable in the room and impossible to sleep. You are given one pedestal fan which does not do too much. It was that bad my partner and I had to sleep naked with wet towels on our bodies all night and we’re from Australia so we’re used to the heat but this was terrible. The reception staff are not very friendly or accommodating. I asked if we were able to get another fan at all and she replied ‘ no we do not have one’ I then asked ‘you don’t have any spare fans anywhere?’ She then bluntly said ‘no’ I then said ‘so there are people in every single room in the hotel’ she replied ‘yes’ I highly doubt that every room had people in there but anyway. I always try to smile and be friendly to everyone and a few times I smiled at the cleaners and just got a rude death stare. The walls are also super thin and you can hear everyone coming home and struggling to unlock and slamming their doors all hours of the night. Not a pleasant experience, makes us not want to come back to Prague because of the bad experience we had.

Great property, great location. Safe, friendly and welcoming. Old fashioned hotel. Few amenities eg no air conditioning. Would recommend though for its cleanliness and location.

There was a strike at the airport at my next destination so I needed to check yeti days early to avoid getting stuck. The hotel refused to reimburse me!!!
