Hotel Villa Luisa

I got married to my Italian fiancé in August 2023. We were recommended the Vila Luisa Hotel for my family and friends from Ireland to stay in as it was close to the wedding venue/church etc. We went back and forth the months and weeks leading up to the wedding as we decided to go ahead and block book a number of rooms. Any questions, or queries were dealt with if not the day I sent an email, latest the day after with incredible helpful information. Even asking if we could organise buses for our guests to get here and there for dinners and outings as a group before and after the wedding. Most of the ladies that travelled on my side (the bride) got there hair done the morning of the wedding as Martina the manager of Vila Luisa organised for them. Every encounter be it over the phone, email or in person was wonderfully easy, enjoyable and dealt with the up most highest of customer service. All of the staff were so lovely from front of house, bar, waiting and housekeeping. There was such fun, smiles and jokes all around on the Vila Luisa. The rooms were fabulous, very airy and spacious but warm and welcoming, modern yet Italian charm. The breakfast was delightful with plenty of choice, and lovely little outdoor areas to sit dotted around if you wanted to bring your coffee outside to enjoy it in the early morning Neapolitan sunshine. I think all of my family and friends would say they would choose the Vila Luisa every time. If we don’t stay with my now husbands family I will be staying in the Vila Luisa, it was just wonderful. It’s very central to many places, plus the beautiful beach across the road makes the air a bit more breathable when it gets extremely hot in the height of the Summer in Napoli. This review is not by any means exaggerative or bias, it was honestly such a wonderful experience being there this Summer and I really just want to say a massive thank you to Martina, there was nothing too crazy or out of the way we asked for she was incredible. My friend and I are just back from this lovely Hotel, everything was amazing, the staff are A1, can't do enough for guests. will recomend this hotel to friends. thank you for the wonderful stay. Myra

Pleasant structure, with quite wide rooms and all services. Nice spa with several pools, very good range of breakfast. Easy to reach and with professional staff, ready to provide advice. We stayed during a tour so probably did not try all the offered services

Traditional looking pretty building on arrival, reception cosy, sun terrace furniture not very comfortable. We booked an apartment for my husband and I and our son. He slept on the sofabed which was in the living room. We had expected a sea view but instead as it was on the first floor there were trees blocking our view. Additionally what appeared like in the middle of the night there were bin men collecting rubbish every night! Furthermore as staff/guests were leaving the front entrace we could hear every conversation through the windows and shutters at 6am every morning. Subsequently we woke up tired every day. spa was unsupervised and as we booked via *********** we had to pay for the usage. A sign on the wall of the spa said that it was complimentary to guests because it was unsupervised and the spa pool was very strange with the flooring which appeared to be lino instead of tiles and it had come loose, which you could feel under feet. Would give it a 3 star rating as it was a little rough around the edges.Bathroom shower was grubby around the tiling and needs refreshing. Breakfast was ok as were the staff generally although some spoke very little English. The website features a beach area and upon asking where it was located we were told it was a 20 minute walk from the hotel down a very busy road. It was desolate with nothing open, no cafes and not very clean. However a chap appeared asking us for our ticket. Reception told us we had to pay on departure but we refused. The entire beachfront was shabby with rubbish littered everywhere. We tried a different beach club which seemed to have a limited service and it was also desolate yet the attendants wanted payment for 1st, 2nd or 3rd tier of view to the beach. Just laughable. We tried a local bar and requested for an umbrella to be moved to our area and were refused as they were only for the beach. The area is not attractive neither picturesque, only small local shops. We arrived on 18th September and sadly the weather also became temperamental. All in all a bad choice and so disappointed as we desparately needed the break after a difficult year.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of August. The hotel is well situated across from the beach. There is free WiFi and free parking, which were both very useful. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed. Unfortunately ours didn’t have a balcony, but the other members of our party did have lovely balconies. The spa was a very unexpected treat, and we booked and used it twice. Breakfast was lovely with pastries, some hot food, fresh fruit and cheese and meats. We would definitely stay here again.

It was really beautiful hotel/ spa The staff were so nice and friendly there was nothing a problem to the Will definitely be returning spa was very nice and private great breakfast also a very nice relaxing area

Hidden little gem. We enjoyed our 10 day stay here. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels/linens and toiletries. Continental breakfast more than sufficient to start our busy days. I already miss the pastry and cappuccino. The staff consistently went over and above to accommodate our group. We had a very spacious efficiency on the ground level, 112. Thank you to the amazing staff for your exceptional service, and most importantly for your patience with our American crew. Worth mentioning but did not impact our stay: wifi is spotty at best, spa is clean but could use an upgrade, washer/dryer on the roof top

very nice experience, my first time in Pozzouli. Very easy to rich Napoli by train, very clean beach, very closed to the hotel. Very nice staff, i enjoyed very much breakfast, i loved my trip . Thank you so much !

We found the accommodation clean & comfortable. Staff extremely helpful. Location was 100 metres from the beach. Which is clean , safe & well managed. We found eating out was a delightful experience. Many good restaurants to pick from. Great experience.
