Xenios Possidi Paradise Hotel

Do not go to this hotel, it’s not as advertised, not worthy of 1 star, staff incredibly rude, food not edible, we had to eat out everyday. Rooms are unclean and unsafe. All inclusive not all inclusive, no ice creams, no spirits, pop tastes like water. Honestly please don’t go it’s so bad.

I came here as a family of 5 people, 2 adults and 3 children. I have never had a worse experience like this before. Let's start with the room...a musty basement room with no view but a wall in front. The pool is very small, especially for children with many prohibitions...you are not allowed to play with a ball in the pool, you are not allowed to jump and many others. Activities for children 0. Playground for children nothing. No activity whatsoever. The food is cooked only for a certain type of tradition but not Greek for sure. Food only with sauces and very heavy for summer. You simply have no choice. I don't even say dessert anymore. For children, you can take your mind off the food. They have nothing but a boiled white paste. Very bad quality. The beach is full of stones with very little sand, full of stones even in the water, dangerous for us as well as for the children. The beach is very small. You have almost nothing to do .. not even a trip, if you don't have a car you are tied hand and foot. It is the worst experience so far. I do not advise anyone. It is not a 4 star hotel, Max 2 stars. all the bad reviews are true. I tried not to take them into account when I bought this holiday and now I'm sorry and I'm very disappointed. Good : staff of the bar , and cleaning lady.

If you are looking for a very quiet place to stay to get away from all of the chaos and truly relax then this is your place. Myself and my fiancé visited on the 31 of May. I am not sure if it’s this peaceful later on in the season. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. The room was very clean everyday. The whole environment is very calm. The food was good, if you like heathy meals. There’s a lovely terrace sitting area right on front of the beach. I can imagine this being a good place to take your children considering there isn’t any crazy loud drunk people around. There are also many shops and restaurants right outside with amazing customer service. The weather was also amazing. 5 starts for customer service. 4 starts for beach rocks and perhaps too much peace. Would be nice if the bar area was more lively.

After planning this holiday and searching for a calm, small hotel, we found possidi paradise. The reviews were good.....but just before we checked the reviews again and got nervous... Did we make a good choice!?!?! Yes, we did. We arrived (after a long transfer from airport to hotel), and the receptionist was helpful and polite. We needed to search a little for our room (it was dark). Lighting could be better, especially at the stairs. The room was good and clean. The bathroom looks a little outdated but acceptable. The shower curtain......personal opinion: you don't want to see such thing in a hotel. Towels are changed daily, and the room is cleaned daily. One remark her. The water can be cold when everybody is or just had a shower. The main beds are good. Pillows is always a personal taste, and I always have to find one that suits me. The additional bed (sleeping couch), for our son, was too hard and too short. We solved that with extra blankets underneath him....the short bed he had to accept. Once settled, we slept well. The room is noisy when people are leaving the hotel during the night, but ok. What about breakfast, lunch, and diner. My wife and I completely agreed. Out of all hotels (also big 5 star hotels in Egypt and turkey), this one was the best. Choice is what you may expect from a small hotel, but it all tasted well. No long queues, enough variety. One small improvement: the fries are not OK.the have to be firm and crispy. Please have a look at this. And we missed pancakes during breakfast....it will make the children happy. The restaurant is big enough. there is no need to fight for a table. The complete hotel is clean and looks good. As said, please repair the lights at the stairs. And sometimes it smells strange in some places. The swimming pool is nice but not too big, but who needs a big pool with such a nice beach and see is just a few meters away. Every room has an umbrella and 2 sunbeds, we never sw a situation that there were no beds even we and others used more then 2. The bar is compared to the rest of less quality. The soft drinks are postmix (automate) and of a local company. By far not comparable with Coca-Cola or Sprite. The number of liquors was very limited. Here is for sure room for a lot of improvement. Staff was friendly, although I always like to see a happy face. It feels so much better if I have the feeling the staff enjoys having us as guests. A short "good morning" and smile makes everybody's day start well :) Surroundings. The hotel is situated in a calm area. 4-5 restaurant, a few bars and 2 shops. There is not much to see or to do, so bring your card games. (We knew it and brought them with us and used them every day). Renting a car and visit another beach is advised. Or take a walk to the cape. All together, if you like it calm with good food; go here. I guess best with young children. If you need someone to entertain you; look further.

I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It' s not a 4 star hotel. The room was dirty, the furniture too old, the music from the pool bar was too loud late at night, we couldn't sleep. The hair dryer was ready to explode in my hands. The food was mediocre.

Very bad hotel, not family at all, all inclusive is not all inclusive at all…there is no snacks between Main meals,after discussion with manager next day was sandwiches on the pool bar.not nice food every day nearly the same food always cold, restaurant had very dirty table clots in the area were was served food, very bad quality of drinks, hotel looks different then on the pictures.. very boring place no themes at all. Pooltable from 17 years old, the same with gym and very poor quality of it and not nice staff member which scares our kids! Lady from reception are not nice at all , laughing in your face when guests are not happy. Very dangerous entries to the beach no stairs no access with pram, there is no beach bar. I had ok room but bathroom very bad and dirty. My friends with we were together had one small room for 3 adults one 11 years old child and 1.5 years old baby. No space for suitcases even. We won’t back! And not recommend this place for anyone who would like enjoy their holiday!
