Casa Nilde

It really is a lovely property. Sitting higher up in the village, we stayed in the best room and had a spectacular view. However, the receptionist Francesco doesn’t like when guest suggests that he needs to smile more on reviews. Luigi is amazing. He has a great vibe and great energy. Francesco forgets that travelers come from all around the world, get tired, need more rest and for that reason, a smile goes a long way. We stayed one night but were very respectful to property rules. If checking out 20 minutes late is an inconvenience for Francesco because my wife had a headache, that’s his problem not mine. Please work on your customer service, Francesco. The world doesn’t revolve around you. The guest that stay there pay your bills and not the other way around.

My daughter and I enjoyed are stay at Casa Nilde. The room was modern and clean and the views amazing from our room and balcony! We were served our breakfast on the balcony which was very special. The staff is very attentive and responsive when I had questions prior to arrival. I would stay there everytime I return to Positano.

Where to start! Firstly we met Luigi when we checked in and he couldn't be more accommodating. Before we made our way to the room, Luigi gave us a debrief of Positano; the best restaurants/bars, the best routes by foot, how taxis & buses operated etc. He then showed us to our gorgeous room and finished off the fantastic check-in experience by gifting us a free bottle of prosecco! The view from our private balcony was breathtaking and the room was spacious, tidy, and clean with authentic Italian decor (which I loved) and it was cleaned every morning after we'd left the room for the day, which always made coming back to the hotel after a long day a nice experience. We also spoke with Fernando several times as we had plenty of questions and he was also incredibly polite and helpful. We felt very welcomed, looked after, and informed throughout our entire stay - to say the least! The breakfast on our balcony every morning was one of my personal highlights - the perfect way to start the day! The location of the hotel was great, we tried to avoid the stairs as much as we could (even though it is the quickest route) however we found the 10-15 minute walk down to Spiaggia Beach beautiful and the best way to see Positano and there were also plenty of shops and restaurants on the way. Also a big shout-out to Dario! Who supervised my drunk and exhausted boyfriend find a restaurant that served takeaway pizza! He even offered to walk down for us and bring it to our room, which I've never known a hotel staff member to do. I couldn't recommend Positano enough, nor could I Casa Nilde. Everything was perfect and I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much to Luigi, Francisco, and the team - we'll be seeing you again!

Lovely place to stay in positano. The staff were super helpful and made some great restaurant recommendations and told us about a less crowded beach. The room was spacious and clean and we had a balcony with a beautifu view. it was quiet and although it was a bit of hike from the main port, there were a lot of nearby restaurants to eat.

We had an amazing 4 night stay here! Francesco and Luigi were both so welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was definitely strong enough. Our room had beautiful view of the sea and we had breakfast on the balcony every morning. The hotel is quite a trek up from the ferry port so definitely use the luggagr porter services and take the road instead of the stairs!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. the staff we fantastic and great at giving recommendations on restaurants and other things. Room was spacious and we had a great view and balcony. would stay here again
