Hotel Villa Bellavista

AVOID THIS PROPERTY!! They gave me different room that I actually paid for and booked on booking app. I booked a double sea view with large double bed and I received a very small room with a tiny bed different that the pictures they have on booking app with the double sea view room. I specified this issue to the reception and they said they don't have another room and to cancel if I don't like it and insisted that I won't loose the money even if on booking is specified the opposite. Horrible stuff!! Also the flush from toiled was very noisy for few seconds, room was dirty and found lots of ants and spiders in it. The view wasn't like the pictures from booking and the location is very hard to be found. I do NOT RECOMMEND IT! I felt disgusted and I never been through such an awful experience since now. I also couldn't leave a review on booking after check out because they knew I would write about this Horrible experience and they didn't allow it. No parking lots also. You need to park wherever you find on the road and is expensive.

The owners and staff are consistent in their aim to be sure you have a good stay. You will enjoy meeting new acquaintances from all over the world. Whether you seek the beach, water sports, hiking the mountains, or just settling down, on the terrace with a good book and THAT VIEW, you’ll know why I refer to it as my home away from home.

**please read** Just back from a week stay at Hotel Villa Bellavista and unfortunately our stay didn’t go as planned. Breakfast was nice, room was cool and bed was comfy. However, the stay was completely ruined due to a male holding his phone over my bathroom cubicle. I had just come from the pool so I had my swimsuit round my ankles. There is no way of proving that an image or video was taken of me but as soon as I looked up he pulled his phone away. I did not know what do in the moment. I got out as soon as possible and reported him to hotel staff. However this only made the situation worse as I was told to not worry as they know the man and “he would never do this”. I then went back to the pool to get my boyfriend where then he went to reception outraged. He was again told that this “wasn’t possible” and informed he was the “air conditioning man”, looking to fit a new unit. The receptionist then went and got the man and he showed my boyfriend his phone where there was nothing. But from the time I had went to the pool to get my boyfriend to him walking to reception was more than enough time for an image/video to be hidden/deleted. We were made to feel as if we were in the wrong and what we were saying was obscene. I have personally suffered from bad anxiety from a young age and this made me very worried throughout my whole holiday completely ruining it. (this happened on day 2/7) As I’ve stated previously there is no way of proving any image/video was taken but the situation was handled very poorly from hotel staff and I felt unsafe the rest of the stay.

Hi Villa Bellavista, I’m sure your property is lovely to stay in. However I have been unable to get confirmation of my cancelled travel plans despite multiple emails for over a month now. I had been corresponding via email with very prompt replies until June when I tried to cancel my booking because of a change in circumstance. I have not received any confirmation of the cancellation despite multiple emails. I was told the cancellation policy is free as long as at least a week from the booking for me this is listed to start 4th august. I need a reply asap to confirm cancellation of my booking with no charge please.

Villa Bellavista is such a welcoming and warm place for the weary traveler, as well as the budget conscious . The food is delicious, made with fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. The views of the Mediterranean and even the Faraglioni Rocks of Capri can be seen in the distance! The sunsets are the best!!! I’ve stayed so many times, I’ve lost count! My last trip was cut, as the birth of my great-grand child delayed travel plans. I can’t wait to rebook!!! If you are looking for a clean, safe place to kick back and relax, while keeping your budget happy, this is it!!! Also, because of the proximity of the sea, you aren’t bothered with street noise. Tickets are available for buses running up and down the coast, so you can hop off, explore a village, then hop back on, or simply ride, drinking in the beauty of the coast. Praiano is well situated between sister cities Positano and Amalfi. Shopping as well as water sports, great dining and gelato await you, on your fabulous adventure! Don’t miss this one!

My husband and I are returning guests at Hotel Villa Bellavista. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were so eager to help. We looked forward to breakfast on the terrace with incredible views and an assortment of food to choose from. Great location in Praiano. Highly recommend. Just lovely! Can't wait to go back!
