Park Hotel Napoleone

I stay in Elba often, this is my first time at this hidden treasure. After reading the reviews I was not expecting such a nice, clean, well located hotel. I cannot fault any part of my stay. It even has a private beach as well as a lovely pool in the beautiful gardens. Just incredible for the price. I will return this year, a real gem. The service is amazing as well. It is not ultra modern but it's a really great treasure on an island filled with over priced hotels. Napoleons house is right next door as well.

Wonderful staff, great diner and nice morning buffet Room is fine, bed could be better, shower head is funny, water goed every direction up down inside and outside the shower cabin.

We were two families and booked our stay for one night only . The hotel is secluded and accordingly quiet except for the natural sounds of nature/animals. It looks good from the outside and is, as the name suggests, nestled in a park. The building looked a bit abandoned, but then turned out to be quite a special building from the 60s, worth seeing, with marble floors and stylistically untouched dining room and bar. The simple, clean rooms had good beds, flatscreen TVs and small but clean bathrooms. However, one room entrance had pigeon droppings on the carpet and the walls were dirty from infiltration as the room was unfortunately directly under the pigeon loft. The breakfast is ok for Italian standards, nevertheless it is not a breakfast you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The buffet was served to us on the veranda by the very attentive and caring staff, with sufficient choice (with a fine cappuccino). There are enough parking spaces at the Park Hotel Napoleon. The shopping facilities are about 1 km away. One is dependent on the car, especially if one wants to do something in the evening. On the whole, the Napoleon is a difficult hotel to rate, because the photos on the website did not correspond to what we expected. In any case, it did not deserve the four stars, even though the past is presented very nicely in this hotel. When did Napoleon actually die? We cannot recommend the hotel as we stayed there.

Okay hotel- rooms quite clean- could use some dusting on the furnitures and vacuuming under the bed. No Wi-Fi in room- just by the pool/restaurant. Most of the staff very friendly- just one elderly man who screamed at everyone .... not very nice. Over all good hotel for what you pay. You absolutely need a car if staying here.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per alcuni giorni durante il soggiorno all’Elba . Hotel molto affascinante: struttura storica ( era un vecchio granaio di Napoleone) in seguito trasformato in palazzo residenziale ancora sotto il controllo dei beni culturali . Certo dimostra i suoi anni , piccoli acciacchi , magari soluzioni non proprio ipertecnologiche. Ma le mura sono spesse proprio perché dovevano custodire un bene prezioso :il grano . E comunque l’hotel è immerso nel verde della quiete delle colline Elbane, ha una piscina in cui rinfrescarsi al ritorno dalle passeggiate sull’isola . Poi ha anche la convenzione con la spiaggia della Biodola( una delle più belle dell’Elba) con tanto di parcheggio dedicato . E questo è un super regalo come sa chi è stato all’Elba .. non posso dimenticare di menzionare il ristorante : davvero curato con menù diverso ogni giorno con scelta tra tre primi e tre secondi e sempre con scelta anche vegetariana . Pietanze gustose e ben presentate. Un complimento extra allo chef. Grazie a tutto lo staff davvero cortese e disponibile : insomma ci torneremo!!👏👏

Inizio dal personale gentilissimo e disponibile, l' hotel in posizione molto tranquilla come volevamo noi, colazione varia e abbondante, cenato una sera menù nella norma. Noi eravamo nella depandance, camera abbastanza pulita con terrazzino pulito il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo Arredi molto datati come i sanitari e rubinetteria Il posto è bello ma secondo me non vale un 4 stelle
