Casa Santini X Roc Seven

This small boutique hotel is lovely. The hotel is on the water with umbrella pines above a lawn area with sofas, Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges to relax and enjoy the view. There is a small beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is a large roped in swimming area. Our room had a large balcony with seating area and double lounge. Roomy with a king size bed and pullout sofa bed. There were 2 closets with a large bathroom with a shower, bath tub and double sinks. There was also a desk area , coffee maker and small fridge. The breakfasts are wonderful with several choices in addition to a tray of fruits, meats and cheeses, assorted breads and drinks. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner inside or out on the terrace and lawn area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with making dinner reservations. There is a shuttle across the street that will take you up to the old town with lots of restaurants and boutiques. Loved this hotel with it’s wonderful setting, engaging staff and relaxed chic atmosphere.

This was a difficult review to write, because this hotel has so much potential to be a lovely boutique hotel, unfortunately the way its currently managed is keeping it from reaching its full potential. We booked our room directly with the hotel, months in advance, paid extra for a comfort with terrace and sea view and were really excited for our stay, upon arrival we we asked specifically for a quiet room, we were promised a quiet room but it would be ready in 1 hour, 90 min later our room was ready, were surprised to see that our room is in the hallway right next to reception and no sea view, a very tight room with a very poor lay out, infested with ants and worst of all extremely noisy, we can hear the people speaking at reception, foot steps, glasses clinging at the bar, nightmare. We ask reception staff for a solution, they offer non, we speak to the manager, he offers non and refuses to even refund us our money so we can go to another hotel. Finally the owner of the hotel gets there and he is the first person who seems to have been hospitality trained, offers us a temporary solution of a stay in a quieter room (but just for one night because other guests were arriving) and ultimately we had to leave the hotel and were refunded 4 out of 5 nights and were charged for the drinks we ordered while waiting for our room, which you would think after this experience we would’ve at least been offered as complimentary, I would even think that we would be refunded the night we stayed as a gesture, but no this hotel has very little hospitality experience, some of the staff are nice but untrained to deal with unsatisfied guests, manager has no idea how to speak to guests which is why the owner needs to be involved in guest relations. Bottom line: this is a solid 3 star hotel with potential to become a 4 star hotel once they get a new manager, train their staff on how to deal with guests, and improve the quality of the ground floor rooms in the main building. We will not be coming back and would advise others to avoid this hotel.

This hotel is just a gem located on the water at walking distance from Porto Vecchio Center. What else would you like to get. The rooms are great, staff very friendly and food is good. The best is the garden which is just overlooking the sea and where you can eat or rest. Definitely the best place in the vicinity

Simply fabulous... you felt the real Corsica through this beautiful hotel. The special room in authentic style, stone, beautifully furnished. The delicious, varied breakfast and the terrace and the dreamy view! Relaxation every morning. I stayed at this hotel in September, for my birthday. It was simply the most beautiful experience! I recommend. Note 10.

Un YES pour l'hôtel, un moyen pour le resto. Personnel accueillant et souriant, les chambres sont bien (sauf que moi, j'aime bien des salles d'eaux fermées (l'age peut-être). La terrasse de la chambre parfaite et l'espace jardin/plage (ce dernier est vraiment très petit) tres agréable. Le tout peut-être un peu trop "in" ou "good vibes" Les petits déjeuners sont parfaits, le resto plutôt bof, trop dans le : m'a tu vu avec un service qui est débordé ou trop vite, on ne fait pas goûter le vin quand les hôtes sont à l'apéritif (sans rien à grignoter, mais apparemment c'est souvent en Corse) En tout un bon expérience malgré la route très passante juste derrière l'établissement.

Le personnel brosse les clients dans le sens du poil (ce qui en devient agaçant) pour compenser la qualité de l’hôtel : - « plage privée » avec une eau dégueulasse dans les hydrocarbures du port avec un sol plein de cailloux - Aération du restaurant juste au dessus de la chambre qui tourne de 7h à 1h du matin - Chambres mal insonorisées - Matériel défectueux : porte fenêtre qui ne ferme pas, et bonde de la baignoire cassée. Nous demandons une intervention : on nous laisse nous débrouiller nous même (voir photos) - Service lent et déplorable au petit déjeuner (il faut relancer 3 fois pour avoir une carafe d’eau) - excessivement cher (575€ la nuit) Évidemment, ce n’est pas ce que vous verrez sur les photos de l’hôtel ni sur leur compte Instagram, où ils prennent le soin de vous cacher allègrement le désastre que je viens de vous citer.
