Gharb

This review is for the restaurant, not the apar**ent which I didn’t know about! We found the restaurant whilst wandering around & SO glad we did! Such delicious & exquisitely prepared food - eating here was a highlight of our brief Porto visit. Staff were friendly, helpful & attentive; a bonus for us was that our lovely waitress also spoke English 🤗 🙏🏽 And now we know there is an apar**ent available upstairs just adds to the pressure to return sooner rather than later!!

Gharb guest house exceeded our expectations. The apar**ent we checked into was bright, modern, really well presented and of a good size. The bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Gharb even has an excellent restaurant downstairs. The food was delicious, and we ended up having two of our meals at Gharb restaurant. We were given free welcome drinks, as guests of the guest house, and as a really lovely surprise, the staff delivered free breakfast to our room in the morning (we had not booked this). The breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. The location is excellent, really central. We're definitely staying here again when we next visit Porto.

The hilltop location is an outright 10 - fantastic for excursions all over Porto. Direct Bus even to the Airport for 2 EUR in front of the apar**ent. Opposite to the beautiful, bright and spacious room and kitchen layout, the small bathroom design with 0 surfaces to place even a small toiletry bag is a pitty. Also the beds protruding metal pillars are a bad design and have caused a painful toe not only for me. A plus was the friendly staff who was always easy reachable via WhatsApp.

Struttura comoda al centro, gli appartamenti sono ampi ed economici, sono inflessibili con l'orario di check-in (nemmeno un minuto prima!) e la reception è in uno stabile differente dove potrete lasciare comodamente i vostri bagagli se arriverete troppo in anticipo
