We got a good deal for a 7 night stay, through Love Holidays. I emailed reception in advance, to request an apartment on the top floor, in a quiet area of the resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, and told that we were on the 1st (not top) floor in Vila B - next to the stairwell. The apartments are very clean, all the staff have been wonderful and the maid service exceeded our expectations (they work from 10AM-5PM, and we never came back to an unmade apartment). Our shower was the best we’ve ever had in an apartment, and the beds are quite comfortable (not like the hard beds that we’ve experienced over here in the past). It was also nice to sit out on the balcony of an evening, and have an AC unit that didn’t keep cutting out overnight. By and large, Quiet Time (11PM-8AM) is adhered to, but the noise from people stomping (and scraping furniture) above, and the apartment/stairwell doors slamming is relentless. Had we not just used the apartment for a base, the interior noise would’ve been a problem. The area and complex felt very safe (although the Vila door is not secured), and we will definitely be back next year. I will ask to change to a top floor apartment next time, if one hasn’t already been allocated to us.
