Also nearby is the pretty village of Borth-y-Gest and the beaches beyond including Black Rock sands, all of which are lovely for families. There are 2 pubs within a couple of minutes walk, both serving food, and there are nearby Indian, Thai and many other restaurants also within easy walking distance in Porthmadog itself.
