We had reserved a double queen room for 3 people, and when we arrived we received a room with a king bed (no couch or anything).
He tried to market this as an upgrade! Ha! If we weren't traveling as a group, we would've just left. The staff at checked-in couldn't seem to understand this pretty blaring issue. Our kid slept on the floor. This is not at all what we paid for at.all, and no recource was given.
Additionally, many things were broken or in poor condition: internet wasn't working the entire stay, pool was out of order and closed, our bathroom door wouldn't even shut, bar to hang clothes on was cut too short and wouldn't support any weight, mircowave handle in room was broken, thermostat on the wall had no power running to it. A broken window unit was just sitting in the hallway right off the elevator. Seemed like a good amount of code violations just about everywhere you looked: storage/trash in the stairwell, wires hanging down from where exit signs should be. We waited to check out 30mins before standard check out time, and a sign was there to "ring the bell for service." We waited for awhile, but no one showed, and that was our last impression. It was shockingly subpar.
