Staff were attentive and professional, the presentation of the table setting was great, the choice of food was good, the quality and taste of the food was good. A surprise was the kids entertainment, which was very well received - our kids really enjoyed the entertainment put on.

I enjoyed my stay. These are some observations during this stay. I stayed at the Lamana in November 2023. 1. Security is good. One feels secure. 2. Restaurant staff are great. Very helpful. Room service is excellent. 3. Sheets at that time will need changing as they were definitely used. 4. Staff go out of their way to be accommodating and I liked that. 5. An elevator would help in terms of movement from floor to floor. 6. Suggest that a separate desk on travel advisory be part of the main reception area. Port Moresby is rich in its own way of places to visit and so is your beautiful country and on simple things like hired guides or taxi fares or other travel related advice. 7. For taxi fares advice,it is advisable to ask the hotel reception staff first for guidance. Overall,I was happy with my stay. I will have no hesitation in recommending the Lamana to anyone.

Good hotel

The hotel and facilities are fine. They are on par with similar hotels in Port Moresby. However, when the sun sets on Friday the music starts in the huge bar. The local hoons, bogans, fan-bois, poseurs, slickie boys, and the entire sordid underbelly of Port Moresby come drink and play until well after the sun comes up on Saturday. They, after they have slept off the incredible hangover, they do it again Saturday night until well after sunup on Sunday. The music is so incredibly loud that within rooms all the way on the other side of the compound it is possible to watch the sound waves knock scampering cockroaches off the wall. The sound is so loud that car alarms are activated. The pulsating music is so incredibly loud that there is no sleep possible anywhere on the property. Sunday night to Thursday night are normal and peaceful, but come the weekend there is no sleep to be had at this establishment. I have stood on the apron when an F16 cranks up and takes off... the noise from the bar at this hotel is louder than that F16. It is louder than the Automated Tsunami Warning system in coastal Japan. It is one of the loudest noises produced by man. Beware. Industrial Strength ear protection was not sufficient for sleep. You will get no sleep.

The room and the staffs were good except for the bouncers(security) at gold club. The way they take advantage of drunk people by stealing their money and things is the worst attitude any staff can do to a guest.

The Service and the 'little things' provided by the Hotel and its staff were 10/10.

Lamana is one of the best hotel in the city. Enjoyed my stay. Rooms are neet & clean good hygiene. House keeping staffs are so good. Coming to restaurants part. Superb food I love the pizzas. One of the restaurant manager she,s name is Orie always with good energetic and smiley. Had Indian buffet at spices restaurant food was awesome mouth melting beetroot kebabs, kasmiri chicken biriyani & Lamb Korma the authentic taste I feel. Am recommending you all if you visiting Lamana please meet one of the chef Mr. Gaurishankar he have magic in his finger. Such a good hospitality person. Thank you all team lamana. 🙏🙏

Actually, I frequent Lamana because I work next door. In my view, it is not very family-friendly. Much of the setup and ambience are more suited for adults. The rooms are expensive, but some rooms are not checked for malfunctioning amenities.

Good restaurants and evening life entertainment.

The service at The Italian restaurant at Lamana Hotel is top notch. From Making reservations to us leaving the restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff. Wine was excellent and not only the meal preparation time was quick, but the food was delicious. Definitely going back to The Italian.

Good good and good services

From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my family, I would like to thank you all so much for the warm hospitality given to me and my family (25.06.2023) yesterday. It was such a memorial day as we celebrated two (2) events in one. My son's 16th birthday turned out successfully with the kind and lovely staff, on the floor, yesterday. My heart is still filled with so much gratitude for their assistance yesterday. I was also caught off guard yesterday when my partner proposed, during the event which was a shock to everyone present, even the staff. But honestly, we, my partner and I cannot thank you enough for the weeks of planning and finally having a successful celebration of the event yesterday.
