The Slipway B&B

Our rooms were immaculate - clean, newly decorated, tasteful soft furnishings, and very comfortable. Both with en suites, which were also spotlessly clean. The dining area was very attractive and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious! A tad overpriced perhaps for the time of year but nevertheless a most enjoyable weekend in beautiful Port Isaac - Lesley

The Slipway Port Issac is without doubt the one eatery in this beautiful harbour side village TO AVOID! We do enjoy our coffee and cake but the selection of cakes was very disappointing. We settled for two Oatmilk Lattes and two Muffins. The lattes were ok, nice and hot although the cups were a lot smaller than we are used to. The Muffins were very dry and tasteless and gave the impression of being bought from a Supermarket Budget line. Anyway we were on a mini break and determined to enjoy ourselves regardless. The best however was yet to come, The Bill, as follows: 2 latte. @ £4.80 = £9.60 2 Oatmilk @ £0.80 = £1.60 2 Muffins @ £4.00 = £8.00 TOTAL. £19.20 We were pretty disgusted at these prices more akin to London so we asked around the other eateries in Port Issac and they were all considerably cheaper and they were very apologetic that we should be charged so much saying that it reflected badly on them and did nothing to encourage people to return. So remember the name THE SLIPWAY, give it a miss!

Have visited the slipway on numerous occasions but never to stay . It certainly didn’t disappoint from booking ,communication has been excellent . Check in was easy quick tour of them room which by the way was lovely and clean . We had a table booked that evening and the food and service again didn’t disappoint burger was great and the fish and chips amazing. We both had a great nights sleep ready for breakfast the next day . The choice was great . Thank you for a great stay would definitely recommend to anyone

The hotel was really good, rooms were well set out, spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and was well organised so you didn’t have to wait long. The other meals served in the restaurant were very good, good portions and at reasonable prices. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here (second time) and would definitely stay there again.

Port Issac is an incredibly beautiful coastal town. The hotel was right across from the harbor, the room was very nice- bed very comfy. The staff was beyond helpful, accommodating, and kind. There is a car park at the top of the town, and a town shuttle that will bring you and your luggage right into the heat of the town. Highly recommended!

While the room was small it was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs. The balcony was wonderful and a great place to have a drink and watch the world pass by. There biggest problem we found was day visitors parking in long term car park (closer to the town) leaving no parking for visitors with luggage and it is a long walk uphill with luggage to the alternative car park.
