Zafiro Palace Alcudia

Just returned from our first family holiday, I would highly recommend here for families we could not fault it lots of activities and 3 pools to choose from. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach and to the local restaurant’s. All staff on reception, at the bar, poolside, restaurants and the house keeping were all fantastic and great with our children!! Really wish I took a few names down as they need a special mention main one being our housekeeper she was so lovely!! My son turned 5 whilst we stayed everyone made a fuss of him, cake, sang happy birthday and even got a birthday “cocktail” overall experience was fantastic! We hope to return in the future

Just back from a five night stay here, we really enjoyed our break at this lovely hotel our room was spotless clean, bright and spacious , on arriving late the hotel left out for us a selection of fresh sandwiches fruit and wine. The food was excellent fresh hot and great variety, the hotel was busy but never felt overly crowded. Staff could not do enough to help very friendly. Our children really enjoyed the splash pool. My only small criticism is I don’t fell there is enough sunbeds, lots of people reserve them.

We stayed at this hotel with our family. 6yr old and 3 yr old. We wouldn't say this is a 5star hotel it is a 4 , 4+ at best. We arrived late on a Friday evening to find that they hadn't even made the bed up in our room for the children to sleep. The towels in the room are poor quality and numerous times we had towels with holes and dirt on them. Same as the linen for the beds, it had holes in it. The bathroom smelt of urine and the sink smelt of sewage. They did move us after we complained of the smell. The entertainment in the evening is poor so it is lucky that there is the town near by to walk too. When booking excursions do your research and go down to the port before hand to choose. We were recommended by the hotel to do the cave snorkeling one but you actually spend an hr of the trip in total collecting and dropping of other passengers then it is a 25minute journey each way to get over to the cave area. We went inside one cave for a few minutes and wasn't even able to snorkle inside as it is sold and you got about 30mins in a small bay to snorkle. Don't waste your money. The restaurants are OK. There is not much choice for children though literally chicken nuggets, pasta, pizza or burgers. No vegetables. It is well located but for the price you pay you would expect more. We had to lift our own luggage in from our transfer to the hotel and there was no drink on arrival.

We had a one week vacation at Zafiro Palace. We had a very nice junior suite with a private jacuzzi. Room was very clean, comfortable and had nice views over the pools and general hotel area. Jacuzzi was the perfect place to relax after a hot day! Buffet food was good, nothing too extra but better than we've had in previous hotels. Something to eat for everyone I'd say, for kids and adults. We tried two of the ala carte restaurants, the La Veranda Grill and the Portico. Both of them were VERY GOOD! Also tried the La Veranda Bistro, also good. Stuff was very friendly and service was good. Most of the other hotel guests were families with (small) children, we seemed to be one of the only adult couples there with no kids. Clearly a popular hotel amongst families - if you want a kids free vacation, probably not the hotel for you. Entertainment seemed to be aimed mainly for the kids too, but this didn't bother us. All in all I'd say we had a very good vacation and enjoyed our stay at Zafiro Palace. I can definitely recommend the hotel for people travelling to Alcudia. Beach and many restaurants just a short walk away, the Old Town too within a walking distance.

We stayed at Zafiro Palace Resort in Alcudia, Mallorca, and were very disappointed. The hotel seems to cater mostly to families with young children, not couples. The buffet was extremely noisy, and the pool area was chaotic. The nightly entertainment was also focused on small children. The rooms didn’t meet the standards of a 5-star resort— they felt run down and in need of an update. We were so dissatisfied that we packed up and moved to another hotel the next morning. Overall, this was our worst hotel experience. I wouldn’t recommend it for couples, but it might be suitable if you have very young children.

We've just arrived back in the UK after 10 days at the Zafiro Palace Alcudia. It is our second trip to this hotel, and it was amazing. Food was first class, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. All the facilities were in great condition, and the gym had been upgraded from when we were there in 2022. We took the opportunity to do a trip to see the dolphins, and also did bike hire. Both were great fun. Can't rate this hotel high enough

We flew out on my birthday to stay at this resort for 1 week with wife and 2 kids (aged 4 and 10 months). We were not disappointed. Excellent resort, facilities, pools (both adults and children’s). Food was great in buffet and the a la carte’s (Japanese and Mediterranean the best, closely followed by the Italian). Evening entertainment good for both adults and children (my son enjoyed the quiz’s and dancing). Bars were great especially the wet/pool bar - special mention to Victor Rios who offered us exceptional service on a daily basis - definitely an asset to the team at the hotel. Overall excellent resort and excellent service from staff throughout. 10/10 stay.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Zafiro Palace. Travelling with a one year old, the hotel was great for kids and caters for the full family. Food, pools and the rooms were great, we were in block 5 which I think was one of the quieter ones further away from the entertainment. Staff were so friendly and location is 5 mins away from the port and 15 mins from the old town, both worth a visit. We look forward to returning soon!

Zafiro Palace is simply the best hotel that we have stayed in . We do visit other venues, however nothing compares to the service , cleanliness & professionalism of this hotel . I would 100% recommend visiting. Perfect for couples & families .
