Finca Son Roig by Valentin

My family and I stayed at the Finca from October 5 through the 10th and loved it! The rooms were rustic and clean, views spectacular, and the staff friendly and helpful. Located about 45 min inland from Palma but was worth the drive; an inland jewel. They have beautiful landscaping, flowers, fruit trees and take immaculate care of the property. Just get a small car for the small windy roads! Pool area so pretty… The breakfast every day was plentiful, beautiful and delicious! The dinner menu and food on the terrace was done very well. Sara and Julio along with our two wonderful two wonderful staff in the dining area, catered to us and delivered delicious, beautifully plated food each night, and even one night unexpectedly! They even helped us with reservations and transportation! We enjoyed our time there very much…

Everything was great here. The staff was great. You can tell that the managers really care about the place.. Heads up for the late bus service that shows up without a headlight that they already knew about. We didn;t take it.

Lovely location, grounds, pool area and beautiful country house. Surrounded by lemon trees. The steps to get up to my room were steep and I struggled with suitcase and no lift or help offered. Food and restaurant service OK.

We spent an entire week at the Finca and it was amazing. The staff is friendly and very welcoming with great service and attention to details, thank to Tanya, Kathe and everyone... Our room was spacious (Suite) and the swimming pool really nice with comfortable sofas. We were travelling with our son (1 year old) and they made everything perfect, from is bed to its homemade lunches and dinners. The great location allows you to find beautiful beaches at 20 mins drive. Oh... and did we mention the surroundings with beautiful landscapes to watch from our private terrace? A highly recommendable place to stay!

Die Finca liegt etwas abseits von Porreres. Es ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und äußerst gepflegt. Obst und Gemüse werden lokal angebaut, und das schmeckt man auch. Der Poolbereich mit den großen Daybeds ist sehr einladend. Snacks und Getränke werden in der Hotel serviert. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend, die Auswahl gerade auch an Obst und Früchten hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Noch besser war allerdings das Abendessen. Das hatten wir so nicht erwartet und hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Alles war frisch zubereitet. Sehr viel Liebe im Detail und die Paella war absolut fantastisch. Was uns überhaupt nicht gefallen hat war unsere Suite Nr.9 Die Suite hatte 2 Ebenen, in der oberen hat die Klimaanlage schon länger nicht mehr funktioniert, so zumindest der optische Eindruck. Die warme Luft zog natürlich nach oben, und es war dann nachts viel zu warm. Für unsere beiden Kinder wurden unten 2 Sofas zu Betten umgebaut. Eines davon stand unter der Treppe, und von der Treppe hingen Spinnweben, das hat den Kindern nicht so gut gefallen. Im etwas in die Jahre gekommen Bad lagen Haare auf dem Fußboden. Der Ausblick der Suite war auf den Innenhof. Die Terrasse war über die obere Ebene über ein ehemaliges Fenster im gebückten Gang etwas beschwerlich zu erreichen. Daher gibt es dann für die Suite auch Abzüge, das war dem Preis überhaupt nicht angemessen. Glücklicherweise habe wir nur einmal in der Finca übernachtet.

Notre séjour d'une semaine en demi-pension a été gâché par des coqs en liberté qui chantent sur notre terrasse dès 4h30 du matin rendant le sommeil impossible. Les climatiseurs sont également très bruyants et le personnel traîne les chaises du restaurant au sol après le service du soir, et avant celui du petit déjeuner, réveillant les occupants de la chambre 10, que je déconseille fortement. (Privilégiez plutôt les chambres côté potager). La direction n’a proposé aucune solution face à ces nuisances nocturnes, malgré d'autres chambres disponibles. Un vrai manque de réactivité et aucune empathie face à un manque de sommeil et une fatigue accumulée, un comble pour un hôtel... Si nous avions pu dormir, cela aurait été sans doute l'un des plus beaux hôtels en famille que l’on ait connu jusqu’à présent. Quel gâchis pour un hôtel au cadre presque idyllique, avec une nourriture délicieuse et très copieuse.
