The approach Road to the hotel is narrow.....only one car can pass. Be aware of one ways. The hotel has no car park. You have to find a free spot to park your car on the road. I had to park my car on the road about 100m away from the hotel. The roof top pool is very small.....about 5m long × 2.5m wide only ..... something like a large bath tub! Breakfast is served in the roof top restaurant which is partly indoor and partly open air. The open air section has no fans and was uncomfortably warm and there are plenty of crows around. The choice of food in the buffet breakfast spread was very limited. The food is not tasty. Service is poor.

The best location with quite good rooms and clean. Swimming pool view is very nice. Just the breakfast buffet is very average.

Only pool was good and food was average. There was no face wash or conditioner in room. Shampoo was also not there. Room size was good but nothing else.

Hotel location is too. Every things is in walking distance. Room was big and well maintained. The issue is with room services and breakfast. If you order any room service they will take their own sweet time. Breakfast is horrible. There are amazing cafe near by for breakfast. So if you just wanna good stay so go for it.

Place was far from sea view, breakfast was good but restaurant food was horrible. Staff's are ok, overall experience was good. Hotel price was high compare to other hotels which was actually near the sea.

The rooms were neat and clean and spacious too. The extra bed that we requested was also brought in without too much of a delay. Overall, a pleasant stay but the experience at the buffet breakfast stood out like a sore thumb. For starters, the spread wasn't great and we could not find people who could serve coffee or tea at the table. Secondly, it was shocking to see so many crows flying in and feeding on the plates left behind by the guests and to see that the staff weren't doing anything about it, left a bad taste. And the fact that many chairs were stained with bird droppings and weren't cleaned before the guests sat on them. This needs to be remedied immediately and the reason for the rating of 4.

Few mins walk from rock beach Villa du ocean is in the heart of French Quarter. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant ( just had breakfast there which was average) and a pool overlooking the church and also a slight view of the ocean, just a slight as other buildings were blocking the view obviously ;) We stayed for a night on the room on the ground floor which was good for a short stay, no complains. Having arrived much ahead of the normal checkin time we decided to go for a ride around the town and came back for an early checkin. The front desk staff is very helpful and courteous. Will certainly recommend the hotel.
