Club del Sol Aparthotel

We spent four days in the resort and the overall experience was good. The room was quite big and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was great. Facilities were also good. My husband and I enjoyed their spa. The only issue was that the first night we heard some machine noise in our room for the whole night. Good news was the sound disappeared since the next morning. In general I think the accommodation was a good value for the money.

Once again another great trip to club del Sol , food is amazing great variety , nice pool areas and bar areas and cleaners are excellant in rooms , my only complaints are bar at children pool is closed meaning a long walk and wait at pool bar and with only one serving it’s a long wait , service in a la carte at lunch was painfully slow at time . Staff were not ran off feet rather cleaning tables than taking orders , food comes out very quick , also the chargrill in main restaurant is fab but a few times the food was undercooked therefore not eating . Big shout to Diego Arlan Jose lius Lizi great bar staff in main bar and also Jose at pool bar ! Will return absolutely no fault with anything else

We visited for 5 nights for may half term as a family of three. First impressions upon arriving at the hotel was how nice it looked. The room we were allocated was room lovely and bright, looked fresh and well maintained and was exceptionally clean. We had a view off the splash park from our front door and of the main pool and the sea from our balcony. The staff on reception were friendly and check in was quick with good instructions of where everything was along with a map. We were room only so ate out for all meals, the food at the snack bar on site for lunch was good quality and reasonably priced, the supermarket stocked a good array of products and we ate out each night for dinner. The walk to the town took about 40 minutes but was nice walking along the coast and is very picturesque and safe. We hired bikes from the hotel at €15 each for the day and did some exploring. The roads have a cycle lane into the town and to the outskirts of Alcudia. The outside areas were kept very clean and there was a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. They had the best selection of cocktails/mocktails and weren’t overpriced. The swimming pools were extremely clean with no debris floating even though some days were breezy. Overall we had a lovely break and enjoyed it so much we plan to return next May.

I have visited this hotel on many occasions with my wife, 32 two week holiday since 2002 this is my first time on my own since I lost my wife in 2023 The love and care I have received from all the staff and entertainment team has been amazing and wonderful and they have supported me through a difficult time and made it good, so good that I am returning in Sept As to the actual review, the location is lovely , the accommodation is second to none, plush comfortable rooms, superb food, all branded drinks none of that cheap rubbish, but most of all the best staff of any hotel anywhere, it is not a cheap hotel but it is worth every penny you will spend to stay here in what for me is heaven on earth

Stayed here for a week in June on half board basis. The room was very clean and had excellent air conditioning, which was perfect as it got up to 31°. Beds comfortable, although the pull out bed was squeaky every time my daughter moved on it. Complimentary hand gel and shower gel in bathroom, coffee machine with pods, tea bags & little milk pots, however they do not get replaced but there is a fridge to keep your own milk in. The food… incredible! We have stayed in other 4* places and I would say it’s definitely 4* quality. Fresh, clean and good selection. I was surprised by the evening meal choices, salmon fillet, chicken breast, duck, fresh fish cooked on the station. They had a station for vegetarians too. Breakfast was great, fresh selection, something for everyone offering gluten free cereals, alternative milks etc. the staff are attentive and helpful. Beverages included with breakfast but not with evening meal. You pay for drinks, water 3.50€, wines 3-5€ etc soft drinks 3.50€ The only thing I would say was a negative is that other guests let their kids run around by the buffet, grabbing food and crashing into other guests but this is totally the parents/carers fault not the staff. We didn’t stay for entertainment in the evenings so can’t comment on this. Pool areas super clean and well maintained. Bali beds and plenty of loungers. There is a little supermarket on site for all essentials. Location, it is a fair walk to the main ***** but we are fit enough to walk it, it’s approximately 2.5km there so 5k there and back. It’s along the main road (dedicated path) so caution should be taken if there are small children walking, otherwise I felt safe walking with my family (adult & teen) even after 10pm. There is a bus stop directly in front of the entrance to the hotel. The beach is lovely. There is a bike hire shop at the back which my Husband hired a bike from, fairly easy and helpful service. I would love to come back, however, due to location I probably wouldn’t. Once you walked up the main part twice/ three times I didn’t see the point in going again. We caught the bus into Alcudia which was nice.

Lovely hotel, excellent suites with views of the garden/pool. Room was very clean and well maintained (problem with the tv was resolved within the hour). Gardens and pool area really well kept. All reception, restaurant and bar staff were really helpful and attentive. Drinks in the bar reasonably priced. We stayed on a B&B basis (aa love to try local restaurants) and buffet breakfast was really nice, especially omelette cooked to order. You can buy dinner (buffet) and a daily basis at approx €23.50, which we did 1 night and really enjoyed. Hotel is approx 30/40 mins walk from the marina or 10 mins on the bus that runs every 20/30 mins. Alternatively, Taxi was approx €11.

Club Del Sol is one of those rare gems that truly stands out. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. The housekeeping team was exceptional, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Although the hotel is located just outside of town, transportation is convenient with buses running every 20 minutes and taxis costing between €8-€12, depending on the time of day. We opted for self-catering and dined out in town most evenings. Returning to the hotel for the kids mini disco and evening entertainment. The hotel's lunchtime pool bar offers excellent food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Additionally, there's a hidden restaurant at the back of the hotel, not owned by the hotel. Just be sure to book a table in advance for evening meals. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the entertainment team. They were the best we've ever encountered, full of energy and incredibly dedicated to making sure the kids had a fantastic time. The kids' club runs sessions in the morning and afternoon, allowing parents to enjoy the adult-only spa, which is free of charge. The entertainment schedule is packed with activities for both adults and children, ensuring there's never a dull moment. As I write this the kids have just finished making pizzas with them, all free of charge, the kids truly loved it….so did we with the free lunch! At the moment they also have a local horse owner come to the hotel, offering pony rides around the park for kids, it’s €8 per child and was one of the highlights for my little girl. Overall, we rate Club Del Sol a perfect 10/10. It was an amazing experience, and we are already planning to return next year with friends and family. First family holiday abroad with our 4 year old and Club Del Sol was a perfect base. Pros The hotel is beautiful, clean and very modern. We stayed full board and the food was very good, some night the buffet was better than others but generally a good standard. Staff are all very friendly. Some of the entertainment team were fantastic, others seemed very inexperienced and lacking enthusiasm. Mini disco was great fun The pools and the splash park were very good. Lovely views from the hotel Everything was very convenient around the complex for our little girl Spa is beautiful It is a little out of the main resort but taxis are really easy, we would have worked if we didn’t have a child Cons No playground which is odd considering the number if young kids at the hotel No mirrors in the bedroom/living area Lots of work done around the hotel early in the morning which was noisy We would defo stay here again but I think a few tweaks could make it perfect

Visited as family of four including two young children. Hotel was nice. Room/apartment provides plenty of room, modern decor and includes everything you need. Hotel is slightly further way from town (Port de Pollença) than we thought but easy to walk to during the day (wouldn’t walk down the road in the dark at night, personally). We got the bus on a couple of occasions however, every bus we got was very busy. To the point of being uncomfortable. We opted to hire a car for a few days which we booked via hotel reception who were happy to help sort this on our behalf & the process was very easy and efficient. We stayed on a HB basis. Food was lovely and lots of variety including a selection of children’s choices which we found helpful. There’s a number of pools, plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas available. My only negative was the cleaning service, which didn’t include a clean on Thursday and Sunday. Our bedding was only changed once during a 10 night stay. I asked for fresh sheets one night as my son had been unwell. Although they were sent to the room they were just left on the side which was a little disappointing. Cleaning was minimal; sweep and mop of floors, bins emptied, quick wipe around bathroom and beds made up. Although this is adequate I do think there could be room for improvement here. On site shop is handy but pricey. Overall would recommend to others as port Pollença is a lovely spot and easy to access from here. It was good value for money and we had a nice family hotel.
